Correction - you were right about 1st Of Tha Month being the lead single for the album, but the second single was actually the title track “East 1999” which also has a music video…and THEN it was Tha Crossroads. (Also there is a video for Buddah Lovaz which I dont believe ever actually aired on tv but you can find it on youtube). Also as far as the original Crossroads you were talking about, that was released on the original pressings of the album and then eventually switched when the remix blew up. Then they released versions of the album that contained both versions of the song. The original was also released on thier Collection Volume 1 album

Yes I remember the E 1999 video as well as seeing Buddah Lovaz years ago. The original Crossroads I believe is just titled “Crossroads” in comparison to the popular “Tha Crossroads” song that everyone is familiar with. I bought the first release of E. 1999 Eternal which had it on there and I remember buying the single separately when the 2nd version came out. I did find it on SoundCloud though!

🙏🏽 What do you think about their ranking on Billboard’s Top 50 Hip-Hop groups?

@@d_and_d_reacts if they werent ranked #1 then its bullsh*t. On one hand thats the fan in me talking but I can back it up woth facts. But take me being a fanatic out of the equation and I still feel they belong in the top 3…maybe with Wu-Tang and NWA. Bone’s sales were massive, thier skill level is unmatched and they are a one of a kind that has never been duplicated (although some have tried), thier collabs list is unmatched and they have worked with so many legends not only rap but other genres, only group ever to work with Notorious BIG, Eazy E, 2Pac AND Big Pun before they passed, not to mention the recent late greats like Coolio, DMX and Gangsta Boo (they also worked with Jam Master Jay on the business side to get Flesh-n-Bone signed to Def Jam for his debut solo)…most influential group of all time and the style they brought to hip hop has NEVER died…one of the major factors is even though they have had break ups and problems with members they have always consistantly come back together to tour and make new music which means they’ve never truely broken up. No other rap group has consistantly stayed together and released music as much as Bone. They have grammy’s, the East 1999 Eternal album is now certified diamond meaning iver 10 million copies sold….a platinum selling record label (Mo Thugs Records)…they’ve litterally done it all…I could go on for days bro. Pretty sure sales wise (group sales not including solos) they are the top selling rap group of all time

@andy1181985 they are ranked at 21 which I feel is a discredit to their legacy. Their impact was larger than a lot of the groups that were ranked higher. They have the Fugees at 14, which I love them but they only had two albums. Migos is 11 and is the only new group from the last 10 years to even crack the top 20. I felt they should’ve been top 10 if not top 5.
