These brothers were incredible. They wrote many many songs for other artists as well. Barry was truly gifted. They shot this video in one take and no autotune back then. All monies for this video and the sale of the record went to UNICEF. Incredible!!

Andy passed away March 10, 1988 I was a junior in high school sitting in art class when they announced it on the radio.😢 When we were learning cursive in 3rd grade we could write a fan letter to our biggest crush so off to Australia wdnt my letter to Andy!😊

I believe it was the MGM film set park where a lot of stars film videos. The train was used in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. It was lovely that your daughter appreciated the old music of my time too. Barry sings in a 'reinforced falsetto' this helps him keep very long notes a normal falsetto could not sustain.

The Bees Gees are fantastic & IMHO, right up there with Earth, Wind & Fire, Queen & MJ. And, speaking of MJ. he loved the Bee Gees- he & Barry Gibb were friends.

My favorite Bee Gees song! And, Reasons was done my other favorite group: Earth, Wind & Fire.I come from a family of musicians, so as a kid, I knew a bit about the Bee Gees, but just recently really saw them & am absolutely in love with this group. Some great news is that it looks like there is going to be a biopic film made of the Bee Gees, directed by Ridley Scott with Barry Gibb, the lead singer in Too Much Heaven, as one of the producers!

This was a great loss when Andy died. He was clean from drugs and he even left LA and went to the UK to live with Robin to stay away from the drug scene. Unfortunately, the doctors in the UK were unfamiliar with Andy’s condition. Doctors in California said that if the hospital had called to get information about Andy’s condition then Andy probably would have lived because he would have received needed treatment rather than waiting for test results. It’s a shame! That is his brothers in the background and it makes the music magical!!

My granddaughter is 12 ... she dismisses the songs i like as " Granny music" 😂😂 Big hugs to your daughter...tell her to ignore the moronic comments... I'm sending her best wishes from England ❤😊
