What if my main drive which is SSD I keep it on UEFI Mode & I want to pull out some data from HDD which is MBR. Will it let me copy the data since there's no windows installed on the HDD but only my data exist on it.
get a flashdrive with at least 32 gigs. with this u wanna find another computer like maybe your moms. run sd format or something similar. now download windows installation media and also download rufus. run the installation media and choose custom instead of upgrade now use rufus and choose the .iso file that the media creation tool made to burn it to the flash drive. now on your main computer plug in the flash drive and if it gives you the option to boot into anything select the usb drive and you should be good
Would that work if I'm converting a secondary drive that I'm not booted into on my current system but want it to boot in a system with a motherboard that only supports legacy boot?
@@cerealkiller5599 My motherboard ended up being a single generation too early to work with EFI partitions, so I ended up booting up Clover-bootloader instead and doing a fresh install of windows with UEFI partitioning. Old MOBO recognizing Clover and Clover recognizing the UEFI boot, which boots up UEFI windows.
