Modified CL550 EXHAUST, (The way It Should Sound)

Come to find out that the CL550 does not have a resonator, My first option was a resonator delete and could not do it. So I had to swap mufflers and go with One Chambers! It gives the car a nice louder growl that stands out
YOOOOO!!! Brah!!! You got the wrap, wheels, and now the exhaust. COMPLETE FIRE!!!!!! SMDH. Your ride is fkn sick right now!! Couldn't stop smiling at 6:22. Very, very nice. Our CL family just got crazy right now!! Keep up the great work.

Sound is awesome, not too loud but really deep on acceleration. Lovely. Car is gorgeous all round.

Yes. There are resonators on this. If you look carefully at 3:48, you’ll see toward front there are two different pipes with two separate resonators. The mufflers were deleted making for an awful M273 sound 5.5L n/a motors coming off of revs sounds terrible.
My mufflers are not deleted tho, I didn’t do a muffler delete

Hey my man I can't even lie you arguably have one of the sickest CL's looks and sound.....your car sounds very similar to a Bentley GT coupe cold start and acceleration. I can't even lie man. This is the sound I want and need asap. I know you said one chamber muffler, please tell all you know about the complete set up to achieve yours exact. Anything else I should inquire? This right here is complete fire!! Well done and excellent footage.
thank you as always, just make sure they take the old mufflers off, you can keep your factory exhaust tips, or change them, I kept mines for a more factory look, on the street it is louder than in the video tho, but not really loud

Bro, I do but not as loud, I normally listen to music while I’m driving so it’s not noticeable but if your used to Mercedes quiet I wouldn’t recommend it, the sound is there but is not over kill you can live with it

I'm looking at a CLS550 right now that just came on to the dealership I work at ill definitely have to get this exhaust mod done asap if I get it. Its the same engine of course. Beautiful car btw. Its a whip for sure

Any drone noise while cruising the hwy?? I'm thinking of getting flowmaster super 50 series. They are 2 chamber. I don't want it too loud and I don't want a drone. Just enough like the amg has.
Yeah just a little but if you turn up the music slightly you wont hear it. So if you do get them you may hear a little drone but to me its worth it

That's crazy that it doesn't have a resonator. Does the CL 550 have secondary cats? Or only 1 set of cats under the headers area?
Not sure. But he let me hear it straight piped and it was so loud. Like unbelievably loud lol

I was so excited I didn't check, we opened the boxes and went with what I liked sounded the best. they are one chambers and was in a white box lol

Nope not at all bro. I thought I would of. But I didn't remove them completely I swapped them for diff mufflers I forget the brand tho

I would start off with a resonator delete to see how you like it first, if it's not the way then go with a muffler swap. The resonator is a step up but not by much

It can be at times. But not muscle car loud. So if you are use to it being really quiet then you might get mad

+brian bui yeah but you have to buy a special adaptor. When my bro got his cl63 it had one already so not sure if it came with the car or he bought it. It comes standard with a iphone jack in the glove tho to plug it up

Hey bro so the CL550 does not have a resonator my car is 2008
+brian bui no it does not but the cl63 amg does. And that's why I had to do a muffler swap. The cl550 mufflers are huge and restricts the sound of the flow. When you switch the mufflers to smaller ones it makes the sound louder and come out

They are azad wheels, might have them at your local shop or u can order them
