  • Obviously, Gabby Thomas has the right mindset whenever she steps on the track: bring your A-game and make sure to outrun everyone else. This strategy worked for her countless times, undoubtedly. Now, she continues to prove that being physically and mentally ready for a race works wonders for Gabby Thomas performance!
    To prove that, she went to the 29th edition of the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix held at New Balance in Boston a few days ago more than ready to take on her competitors and ended up excelling in the women's 300m event.
    As most of you know, #gabbythomas usually competes in the 100 and 200 meter sprint. In fact, success came relatively early for her. For context, she made her first appearance in the U.S. Olympic #trackandfield Trials in the 200 meters in 2016 where she finished sixth. At the time, she was just a freshman at Harvard University, training under coach Kebba Tolbert.

    0:21 “Run faster than everyone else” is indeed the best strategy, as he says. I’ve seen it countless times. Running faster than everyone else will win the race 100% of the time.

      For real, she has the looks, but I think she's actually an M.D. Could be wrong but I seem to recall that she'd gotten her doctorate degree. Lady is smart, beautiful AND fast--the total package. EDIT: Should've watched the video--looks like she's working toward a master's.

    I have to believe Gabby could run an awesome leg in the 4x400m relay with McLaughlin, Athing Mu, and the fastest of Diggs, Cherokee Young, and Steiner.

    Why did you say Jamaica is her home nation? She is born and raised in the US. Her mother is American and only her Dad is Jamaican. Having roots somewhere else and being from another country are 2 different things.

      ROOTS will always Trump CULTURE especially if you were raised in a Home with IMMIGRANT Parent/Parents. We see it all the time in sports if a person is unhappy and having issues representing the country of their BIRTH, they don't hesitate to then go represent the PLACE of their ROOTS.

    2nd best 200m female runner in the world with Sherika Jackson only being better. Robbed of a silver medal in the Tokyo Olympics as she was passed down the stretch by testosterone fueled Mboma what a shame and disgrace.

      Stop shaming people. She did not make herself. Why the hatful heart.?

    • @sonojah
      @sonojah 2 месяца назад

      @@sonjaanderson6933 sHe has an unfair advantage as determined by the powers that be. It is actually quite the opposite of hate I'm exhibiting a love for natural born females. Did you ever ask yourself why sHe isn't allowed to run the 400m anymore by the powers that be? sHe was in the process of making a mockery of the record books when she was a junior athlete, thank God someone with sense decided to step in. Unfortunately, the woke virus is spreading into sports so the sanity is most likely short lived. For example, I just saw USA boxing is allowing transformer athletes to compete against biological females for this upcoming Olympics. 👎🏽👎🏽
