Considering that Tom Stourton's characters never had any speaking roles, I can understand why Duncan was left out of the episode. Or maybe have him take over Skarloey's line "What was Percy talkin' aboot?" as a way for him to have two lines.
I feel like the solution to Duncan taking in TGLRS should have been to have Rex speak too
