Do you cut the quotes out of the children's books or photo copy them and then apply them to the piece?

Hi, these pieces are beautiful. How did you seal them to stop the pastel from rubbing off? X
I will spray a fixative (Krylon) a couple of times and then I will Liquitex matte sealer varnish to it. Thanks for watching!
