Nice pieces and definitely help steady the steering. Cool clip to capture the flex of the plastic vs. aluminum parts

Very interesting to see the difference a mount can make. Great video!

Great example post installation man! I'm sold lol... 650oz of steering makes things happen and that's one of them. Guess I'll give it a try and run til it breaks! Thanks again! The AXE rig is my current favorite!

Thank you, I like the Axe as well and the new 3300kv version should be out soon.

Oh really?!?! Man I've been eying that one since my first purchase. With the torque and low speed control of the 2300kv that will be right up my alley! Thanks again

A little bit of a side topic here: I am not a huge fan of HR products (Had bad experiences with their quality in the past) but there is hardly many choices for extended wheel axles so I went for it.. I have the MIPs +4mm extensions So I knew how those work but I wanted a tad more width so the Bronco could sit just right with the Aluminum Wheels I have.. Right now the options are: MIPs +4mm, Hot Racing +5mm and +10mm... So naturally I went with +10mm.... I have to say the quality is really good? and the stance is AWESOME! but the extension is too much to the point it weakens the steering since it moves the pivot point in the knuckles too far, It would need a +40kg servo to move like it did with the +4mm extensions. So I am going to try the +5mm extensions and see if that is the sweet spot...
I really REALLY Highly recommend going wider with the MIPs +4mm for Rock crawling! Super stable specially when side hilling!
Gonna try those HR +5mms extensions but right now I can only recommend the Hot Racing +10mm extensions for TRAILING ONLY! Not for serious rock crawling.

You won’t see me running widener’s on any of my scalers, leverages get bad and with the portals all that portal is out in the air and hangs up on all kinds of stuff. I compete a lot and the width hurts more than it helps.

@@ExocagedRC Sure but in a high center of gravity chassis such like the TRX4 with the shifter servos the side hilling is not really great compared to those like the SCX10.2 in stock form or the TRX4 Sport for that matter.… Going wider can really help the TRX4 side hilling, Give the MIPs +4mm a try it does not hang the portals in any harmful way as the scrub radius its actually centered to the C-Hub almost perfectly, At least it does with my wheel/tire combo.
The +10mm does push out the tire far enough for the C-Hubs to hit the rocks easily. I returned to the MIPs +4mm for that very reason, I got my C-Hubs pretty scratched in my last session with the +10mms. They were spotless with the +4mm.

@@skirmich I currently have issues with the chubs catching stuff when in competition, when navigating a course with gates, extra room for positioning isn't always available. I actually just got a new set of chubs that as measured gives me about 1/4" more clearance between them, should get the video wrapped up soon. Another thing with these portal axles is the wheel scrub is bad in stock form and only gets worse with more offset, oddly enough that scrub is useful in some ways when on a ledge. As far as side hilling goes I just add brass portal covers with good tire foams that don't allow tire roll and all is good.

Hey Exo - love the content! Learn a lot from your videos :) What rims are you running on the Trx4 Sportish? Are they a plastic bead lock or glued rim? Would love a link to them👍

Usually I go with the local Gens Ace dealer Sean Larmond. He can get most anything you could ever want and has good prices too. I do like the 2200mah Turnigy 3s batteries and the Helios 3500mah and their 1500mah 3s batteries.
