I enjoyed seeing the range of aesthetic you collect. I am drawn to realistic fashion dolls but love Blythe as well. I am now fascinated with the Pongratz dolls. You introduced me to them. I really appreciate your sharing your love of dolls and information about them.
Love the list. And seriously considering on choosing one of them in the future. My first time big purchase was a smart doll, and i love her so much, especially since it was purchased with a lot of sacrifices and during a difficult time. When i made the decision to purchase her, i watched so many times your videos on smart dolls and the info provided, that i really wanted to have one of my own.
I am on a very limited budget and I have fallen in love with the Blythe dolls so definitely the lower end Blythe is in my savings range. I can’t wait until I can get one. I have been watching a lot of videos and doing a lot of research on them.
1,500 for a reborn doll was a big purchase for me.... but never again because most don't hold their value.. so do but most don't... you would never get back what you put into them. Great video... I loved it. It always great to hear from your perspective.👍🏼❤😍🥰❤🥰😍
All of these are wonderful dolls. If I could get one right now it would be an Ana Salvador doll. There is something about them that really draws me in.
You have an. Exquisite collection! I can never afford one but I love your Popovy and Pasha Pasha,( I named my cat Pasha), I was lucky enough to find a Connie Lowe and Kimberly Lasher doll on the second hand market. They are my most valuable dolls. Thank you for sharing!!😊😊😊
Great video!!! Very informative and loved every single one of the dolls in your list... I finally splurge on a Pasha Mini😍 I’m on the waiting phase🤗... I would love to get a Popovy next...
There you go with your good idea videos again. I wanted an Ellowyne Wilde for quite some time and then thought about Evangeline Ghastly and may still get her one day. I also like the Tonner American Model dolls but they range around $300 and up I think. I have some Gene Marshall and Tyler Wentworth, I really enjoy this type of doll and sewing for them. The most I have ever spent on a doll was $70 plus shipping and that was for a fake Blythe with the most long and luxurious blue hair.
Hahaha I have my eye on several dolls ... Thanks to you! 😂😂🤣 My biggest splurge SO FAR was my popovy and her outfits. It’s all so much fun though and I appreciate your influencing and advice! ❤️🍭❤️
My biggest splurge was a Tender Creation Alisa, then a year later a Elena who I splurged on even more with blushing shoes and wig. My next is a Popovy, but I’ll have to get her blank right now. I plan on saving up for a full set.
Thank you so much for this video Allison, I’m in love with Ana Salvador dolls, they are so beautiful, they have such a sweet expression, and the rest of the details, is really impressive,,like you said they look like porcelain, those are really quality dolls, they really worth the price, they’re amazing ❤️
They are stunning works of art. Of all the dolls in my collection, they impress my husband the most (he is not a doll person but he recognizes the artistry).
@@MunecasPoupeesDolls they’re simply adorable, I just checked their website and I love the sculpt “Poppy” in ginger, she’s so cuteee her little shoes are so well made and her clothing, you definitely need to get another one❤️❤️❤️❤️
I saw a documentary on the Sisters and the work they put into their dolls is very intense and detailed. Just watching one work on a tiny thin braid and it took a minute to get perfect. Amazing ❤️. You have some amazing creations 🥰💯 The Integrity dolls are my current weakness 😂
The biggest splurge for me was back when I was living on less than seven hundred dollars a month CAN. I scrimped and did without to pay the layaways on that doll. And then a friend who had less than me cried over having no BJD, and I gave it to her. And she sold it.
@@MunecasPoupeesDolls another artist you might like is Xenis Collection Dolls, they are carved wood dolls also a Canadian doll artist.

Beautiful and such an expansive range If I ever were to splurge it would most likely be - an ethnic artisan Huret from VDC -an artisan rohmer -a Brown complexion Bru by Bebes by Sayuri
Stunning dolls! It's cool to see how others approach this hobby. I try to save up for base materials to hone my skills to save on funds (sewing clothes making wigs ect) my most expensive doll is a harucasting tan skin Geuru, with a custom faceup meant to look like kid me.
January 2021 is when I started ordering BJDs. I didn’t know that they would be a pre order, or that it would take so long for them to get home to me. Being new, I thought it would be like anything else I ordered...😆 now two months into the hobby, and many videos and blogs later I have since learned. I have three dolls on order; and they have increasingly gotten cheaper. So my ‘splurge’ is my first ordered doll- Dollshe Craft Adonis in ebony. He will come to me (not sure time; hopefully around July=my birthday), without any clothing, wig, or face up. I want to eventually try my hand on that! Then I ordered a Mirodoll Mika in Dark Chocolate the next day😆 and a week later another doll from Alices Collection! This last doll is 1/4 and the first two are 1/3!!! I am feverishly making clothing for them.... to curb from buying/ordering more dolls! As I pay down my credit card! Lol ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️I love your videos!
The longer I collect the more my splurge point increases if that makes sense. The biggest splurge on one doll was for a rarer European/Australian My Child doll last year. She was one of my dream dolls and I just had to have her. I don't regret my purchase one bit. :)
To this day I am still wanting a Pidgin Doll, Popovy Doll, or PashaPasha doll. Being 16 and unemployed though they're out of my price range for now 😭 but someday I will definitely get one of them. I can't count the times I have been on the popovy site putting together how I would want my fullset to be
Hypothetically ... If I could afford them, I would get Michael Zajkov, Lutsenko, Annette Himstedt, and Hildegard Gunzel dolls. Realistically ... my most expensive doll is a Smart Doll, and I'm still kicking myself for getting that one.
I really want Fashionista 91, 'albino, white afro' girl. However, her price is crazy for a Fashionista plus she's difficult to come by. That being said, I still would love to get her with the caveat, that she must be on an articulated body. I would definitely 'splurge' on her in that case 😊 Great video, great topic, as always
I am far too cheap to invest so much in a single doll and I would be terrified that something would happen to it. I love watching your openings and seeing your collection but I just can't see it. Well maybe.
I have playline dolls that I love just as much or more than some of my more expensive dolls, I've talked about that a lot on my channel. I think all forms of doll collecting are 💯 valid.
dolls worth splurging on ....IMO, any Volks One Off doll that you can buy , they are so limited by the way they are lottery/sold/ordered ...I have alot of BJD's but I know I will never get the chance to buy almost any Volks new releases ..............................they can be purchased 2nd or 3rd hand but the price will stay very inflated for years and years ..Volks owners are really attached to their dolls in a unique way by the way they are marketed by the company
Ohhhhh those are good ones!! I've entered a few lotteries that I didn't win, and I've seen how coveted even the limited dolls can be (Rapunzel anyone?).

Pongratz dolls are so amazing 😍
A splurge to me is 40 dollars maybe someday that price will go up until then I will live vicariously through others. Lovely dolls tho Allison
There are some great splurges in that price range! BMR Barbies are some of my faves 💜
@@MunecasPoupeesDolls I haven't gotten one of those yet but I'm looking in to getting one of them
These are out of my Price Line. But it was really fun to see your list. Thanks for sharing. ;-)
Thank you for watching 💜
We (my husband and I) discovered Smart Doll around Christmas. They don’t start in the $800 range but you can pass that really quickly ❤️😆
Ohhhh it happens so fast 😂 Especially when that free shipping is hanging over your head 🤣
