I recommend using Alpha Bracers over Sandguard, so you don't need to get Ramkahen exalted, just get revered for the ring.

I have a question about professions, for a BDK I'm thinking of taking engineering for mobility but I don't know what other profession to take, I figure leather working with stamina bonus is a good option at the start of extention but on the other hand a profession that yields mastery would be more optimized.

I'm going engi+alch myself, but BS or LW are good in place of alch too. The trinket from alch is fantastic early and can be situationally used all of phase 1

Thanks! 5m vids are definitely on the list. That's something I had hoped to be able to do during beta, but I haven't gotten in. Those vids will come at some point, though I may need to use a p server for it and it's possible not everything will be accurate

Can we get an informed professional review and opinion on prot warriors outside of the typical "made of paper til DS. Reroll"? Exactly how much would one struggle through raids? I'm MT prot war for my guild (yeah I know, suboptimal) and I find the protection warrior playstyle to be the most fun out of all the tank specs. The 30% ICC buff has sort of skewed my experience as a whole.
I have pretty limited p server experience compared to others overall and on prot war I've only really leveled one and did heroics. So I dont really have enough personal experience to say. At the very least they seem like they'll be solid OTs and fine as MT if you aren't going for week 1 clears
I'd say don't except to have a good time progressing through heroics with full pre-raid Gear. But if your Guild is going slower anyways (like doing mostly nhc and only some easier hc bosses in the first weeks) you will be totally fine with any choice of Tank. That is my experience from Beta raid testing

Yah Baradin's Wardens is the name of the Alliance version of the TB rep and Hellscream's Reach for Horde

My understanding is you do NOT want hit/expertise on your gear as Blood DK. You want most other tanking stats first. Only get hit/expertise if you have no alternative, and then reforge the hit/expertise to mastery/parry/dodge, whichever isn't on the item. All guides I can find seem to say that, but they are all old ones from cata or private servers after cata. So did the meta change or is the hit/expertise comment at the start just a general comment? Been trying to find any resources that can confirm/deny this hit/expertise stuff.
They aren't as valuable as they have been in the past since taunts and interrupts cannot miss and Death Strike will heal regardless of whether it hits or not. However, they're still worthwhile for increasing damage and snap threat consistency, and hit is great for insuring Outbreak actually lands so you don't need to spend frost and unholy runes on your diseases. Mastery you'll for sure just stack, but beyond that you just give up a small amount of avoidance to get hit capped and expertise soft capped, which is super worth it to me. But everyone will have their own opinion on it and can decide for themselves
