    I saw one today but it think the best way to go about this is to negotiate with the companies making these busses so that some part of the production process can be in Ghana maybe the final assembly so as to create jobs for the people too. This will not only create jobs but provide the experience required to do things like this and move the country forward. this is just my opinion that's all

    This is very good initiative but without good system, this good hard work thing will be nothing
    I have been experiencing similar thing in where I am and since there is good system, the buses are always in good condition.

    I really wish some of these buses are given to the primary schools to cushion the transportation woes of teachers

      Teachers don't need a designated bus to transport them to their place of work. That's laziness. They are equally workers and they should organise themselves to get to work on time. That's what we all do in the UK. In the morning, afternoon, and evening, or night time, you will see teachers, doctors, nurses, engineers, cleaners, etc. Everyone on the train, bus, cycling, walking to work.
      You are even lucky to have an express bus.
      This is the best the government can do, and that is strengthening the transportation system in the country for everyone's proficiency.

    Bank cards or Ghana cards can be used to top up for the touch and go busses. It's done in London.

    A bus driver has to do a Pre-Trip inspection by checking everything tire,indication lights, air breaks systems leakages, wipper, mirrors, glasses, seats,handles,electric function board , batteries, fans, heats, aircondition, and all Guage ,door functions, cash & card register system ,camera system, all vehicle operetional documents must be current including drivers license ,and drivers conduct, but The only thing I heard him say is drivers conduct

    The driver mentioned that there were seats available in the electric bus for those that are disabled. But he didn't mention any seats being available for pregnant women and those carrying children.

      Kuffour buses are still in the system so Ayalolo could have survived if Ntim Gyakari had bought a good buses..don't blame it on maintenance but the buyer because we are still battling with Ntim Gyakari's ambulances till now

      Fuel prices are what make fares of buses using petrol and diesel expensive. Electric and solar powered machines are cheaper.

    Electric buses were introduced in Ghana during the late 70s and 80s by the now defunct O.S.A. (OMNIBUS SERVICES AUTHORITY), so this is not something new in Ghana.

    I hope goats, chicken, guinea fowls, are not allowed on these eco-friendly newly buses because that is something common with people travelling in the country. Some of us Africans are very dirty people and lack knowledge on keeping anything looking beautiful, i am pleading with the public please let not that happens to these beautiful buses.😊
