They tried to completely destroy him, or "shut him down". They never "mentioned his name" meaning they pretended that they wrote all the music. They "left him hanging In a room with a noose and a chair," they, "told him to stay put And reminded him why he was there" meaning they pretty much left him to rot in rehab and said it was his own fault he was there and was no longer in the band. That's why the song is titled "If You Think This Song Is About You, It Probably Is," it's a passive aggressive jab at the other band.
I know this was an album reveal video and not an official one but this band really should have made some more music videos in general. It would have been so sick to have seen an official video for Mr. Owl Ate My Metal Worm.
It's suppose to be like the album tracks to video, 11 tracks on the album with If You Think This Song Is About You, It Probably Is being Track 1 on the album so the next one is The Only Thing You Talk About, the 2nd track on the album, So it's a different way of showing you the album besides just putting up the songs they haven't yet. Something to watch besides a picture.

Craig took more than what they agreed on;his vocals as well as their instrumentals. Why do you think Drugs changed the breakdown? Because it's obvious that it belonged to Chiodos.
