The cladding is in line with its status as being a crossover vehicle - most, if not all crossover, have plastic claddings. Compared to the previous generation of cars, from 3 to 5 years back, the claddings appear big, but compared to newer cars, like the Lexus UX, the claddings are on par in size. This is the new norm. Get the darker colours so that the claddings blend in with the rest of the car.
If space is a problem Go for CX5 (long term car with family vibe). If you want latest modern interior and features go for CX30 High Spec 2.0 . Nevertheless.. having a Mazda itself will be WORTH IT!!! Premium, Luxury and many features installed) like BOSE speaker - which is turn ON!).
I'll have the CX 30 over the CHR anytime.. Just a suggestion, why don't you include a performance gauge segment in your video. Maybe a quick 0 - 60mph test maybe for each tested vehicle? Anyways, keep up tje good work guys!
The title says This or A Mazda CX-5, but the video doesn't even address this, and in the end you say versus a CH-R? Make up your mind what the content is about. Feels like I was click baited. Good luck getting me to watch another video of yours.
@@xekill Base on current CX-30 interior, we can expect the next gen CX-5(maybe change name to CX-50) will be stunning for sure. With the CBU CX-30 price as a baseline, I foresee next gen CX-5 will be price higher than current CX-5 even it is CKD. The build in material in Mazda is way higher than the 2(H & T) rivals so i will expect the future Mazda CKD models car price in Malaysia will be also gradually go up.
You dont compare to another car by using “or something like that”. That shows you dont even know who / what your competitor’s performance / specifications in the first place. 😑
Just found this review when looking for cx30. But after 2 mins.of listening to a mirror, I off the video. Lose the sunglasses when presenting dude! If it's too bright out, pick a shady day. If u need the sunglasses for better visibility in the rain, pick a not rainy day to shoot.

How is the 2.0G compare to the 1.8D? Can you do a review or comparison?
The 1.8D is geared for efficiency and it doesn't feel the torque as expected from a diesel. It's efficient, but not as fun as the 2.0G

Noisy coarse engine when accelerating. A shame that the engine sound firewall insulation could be better, then it would be quite perfect.

Tough choice, we'd probably pick the CX-30 for its full suite of of ADAS such as radar cruise control and lane keeping aid
