  • Mazda's are special cars that appeal to a select group of buyers who appreciate Mazdas for what they are. Take the CX-30 for example, it is a great looking car and is fun to drive, just like any other modern Mazda. But it is also very expensive, which beckons the question - is it worth the asking price? We find out in this video!

    I have had this car for 6 months now. Single male, about 173cm. I drive around alone most of the time and the space is adequate. The size makes it easy to maneuver around town too. I have had a couple of long drives with 4 adults in the car, have had no complaints. I did test drove a corolla cross and HRV, the quality of materials used in Mazda is a league above. This isn't the car for families, for that, you have CX-5.

    Funny that you keep mentioning about how small of a car it is compared to its price. Is that all that matters to you from a vehicle?

    • @PistonMalaysia
      @PistonMalaysia  11 месяцев назад +3

      If it was a small car that was fast and priced the same, we wouldn’t be complaining. But this is a small car that doesn’t get anywhere particularly quickly and is quite pricey. So what’s the problem with pointing out the obvious?

      @@PistonMalaysiafollow your logic, Proton x90 with the big space, 1.5 turbo engine and cheaper price is the best car in the world.

      @@hwlam1979your logic sucks. How can you compare Mazda and Proton in terms of quality. It shows you don't know much about what defines quality. He was talking about the overall size of the car relevant to the price. I agree the price tag is high but that does not make the CX30 a bad car. He is saying for the price there are other options like CX5. He didn't mention Proton is better than Mazda

    A flex car simple as that. Definitely a "head turner" for me when cx 30 is on the road instead of cx 5, too many already otr 😅

    I agree with you.. this car is overlypriced..i do know that the quality is better then other B Segment cars.. but shud be 10K cheaper

      No doubt it's a nice car to drive but can't wrap our heads around the price.

    I love this car but it's small for my height, about 173cm. The main issue is when I get into the driver's seat side and I have to tilt my head lower to get into which is kinda annoying. I did lower the seat though; the worst part is that the space felt crammed. I tried the subaru XV GT and it has a good amount of space though. CX5 is ok for me as well but I dont like the shape. And you only get the 360 cam with high-plus premium model?
    The Subaru has all this at a lower price. Can someone advise me :) ?

      Did you try the Honda HRV? Perhaps that might suit you better?

    • @edwinweb
      @edwinweb 17 часов назад

      @PistonMalaysia HRV fits perfectly though...just not interested in that. Thanks for the suggestion. Cx30 is still a great looking car. Subaru XV looks different though. Their 2025 model has big infotainment unit which looks like a spaceship touch screen.

    Price different around RM13,000.00, after deduct RM4000 free service, price different around RM9000, and CX30 H+ got more accessories and more premium. I don't think it is ridiculously expensive. HRV win in Turbo engine (this one also more on personal preference) + back seat (more space but HRV center back seat too high) + Honda connect + LKAS (cx30 H+P only got CTS) only.

    • @PistonMalaysia
      @PistonMalaysia  11 месяцев назад +1

      Agreed. But the CX-30 is just too small for a car at this price range.

      @PistonMalaysia I don't think you will get anything like that in that segment from any reliable car manufacturers. Maybe from Korean cars but they are not as reliable as Mazda.
      And interior is also a factor I consider when I buy a car. If you go to another Japanese cars in that segment they don't give you a interior as good as mazda. And most of them use CVT which mazda doesn't use.
