Mini Guide which explains how to properly assign axes in Flight Simulator after the 40th-anniversary helicopter update.
Please note that you might have to reverse the throttle axis, make sure that turning towards the left (from a bird's view over the throttle) increases RPM.
Woohoo! Great news! The throttle/gov issue is my only gripe with the new control setup! Would it be possible to get an image for the gen 4 collective layout too with the 2 switches and 2 buttons? Where does it go if you’re not a steam user?
an image for the 4th generation cannot yet be implemented as it needs to be implemented by Asobo/Microsoft first. we are working on it! 👌👌
Very helpful, but I can't find any of those directories as I'm using the MS Store version. Can you let us know where that might be?
Hi Richard, we do not run the MS store Version, but assuming you could check in which folder the Program is installed and go from there to find the files?
Any settings for sesitivity aswell? Would be great to tweak Cabri G2 to get the best experience..
Hello and thank you for your comment. Since the Cabri is still being worked on, we would rather not publish settings that might change later on. From the tester pilots and other testers at Asobo, it seems that keeping the curves at their default location renders good resulting control inputs. Without the need for further adjustments.
Didn't see in the video where we can get the layout.png file from. Did I miss it or is it no longer available?

this video was a temporary fix just after the 40th-anniversary release. Asobo/Microsoft have in the meantime integrated the PUMA X controls directly into FS2020 and the setup happens automatically, no layout.png file needed anymore 👍
@@proflighttrainer I was asking about the layout.png file that displays the collective and cyclic buttons on the right side of the Control Options window under description, not the entire setup without any of the buttons labelled.

I have the previous Puma to the X and it is not showing up in MSFS. What can I do?

All generations of Pro Flight Trainer Controls work fine with MSFS.
The picture which shows the controls will not show up initially, but that does not prevent from assigning axes and flying. 👍
The picture is just there as a reference, without any functions. You can freely assign all axes and buttons and fly helicopters and fixed wings within FS2020/MSFS.
