- REPORT: The Dallas Cowboys have signed NFL running back Royce Freeman to a one-year deal according to ESPN’s Todd Archer. The details of Freeman’s contract are currently unknown, beyond it being a 1-year deal. The 27-year-old NFL running back accumulated 319 yards with two touchdowns last season for the Los Angeles Rams before hitting NFL Free Agency. This is a very good running back he also play for the Broncos and and he ran very good against the 9ers Kansas City Seattle and our CowBoyz and a lot of teams

Tom is selling him a little short. He beats out Davis and is #2 at the least. He will make the roster. Maybe play some special teams consistently. He has the power this team needs right now

Bro JK Dobbins is right there about to hit his prime and on a prove it year. This guy is good but I would have preferred JK. Jk has a better stats comparison and starting experience. JK has 12 TDs in three years and freeman has 10 TDs in 7 years. His best year was his first year and had been irrelevant since almost. Jk averages 5.8 yards a carry to freeman’s 3.8 ypc. Well on to next year i guess
After a long day of work I walk in the door and look at my phone to see my RUclips notification of this video. I read “Cowboys Sign” and immediately tap the video. Lamb ext? Dak ext? Are the Cowboys about to make a splash!? I then see Tom. Dedicated Tom Downey hard at work, reporting to us after hours, going above and beyond for Cowboys Nation. All of this anticipation to find out we are signing…..Royce Freeman. Royce Freeman, a 3rd round pick who was cooked before he even stepped foot on an NFL field and lost his job to a UDFA. This may be the low point for me as a Cowboys fan.

I know everyone wants a big name running back but it’s a passing league and spending on RBs is not smart business…. Even using valuable draft picks not smart….. I believe cowboys should go with 3 young guys that they can rotate and stay fresh.
