  • Royce Freeman had an illustrious career at Oregon. He finished as the all-time leader in rushing yards and rushing touchdowns at Oregon. He is seventh on the all-time rushing yards list for college football. He's also second on the all-time Pac-12 rushing yards list with 5621 yards and 60 touchdowns throughout his career.

    Great vision; short choppy steps; power; tough(gives & gets); protects the ball; catches very well; good speed for good size; even has good shiftiness for a big back; strength; intelligence and a good blocker. He has everything you *need* in a runningback. Case Keenum is the same 'type' at quarterback, they should mesh well. I see a day 1 starter here. The only things he's missing are the extras: straight arm and burning speed. I just hope the broncos know what they're doing with the O-line.

    If Freeman can avoid injuries, he'll be an NFL star. He lost a step at Oregon whenever he was banged up which was a lot his Sophomore and Junior years. If he toughens up, he can be great for Denver. He has all the tools. Go Ducks!

    The first thing I noticed about Freeman is his vision is unbelievable, he can even make good moves between the hashes Wich is what we will need most this year the way we run our O. The second thing is he's a hard runner, isn't afraid of contact. He could very well be a big part of what we do this year. Also AWESOME vids Mr. Milehigh Highlights, you really get to the point with the specific highlights you put together. Much Love, GO BRONCOS!!

    • @2299mikey
      @2299mikey 6 лет назад +2

      that's literally one of the worst comps ever. Have you ever watched leveon bell run or watched a single oregon game? they're literally nothing alike just cause a dude runs in a zone blocking scheme and tries to stretch out runs to the outside when there's no hole that doesn't make him leveon bell. That just makes him a running back. He will have nowhere near the impact of leveon bell

  • @lindseysummers5351

    I am tentatively excited for my favorite team. Bradley Chubb is an upgrade for the defense, and that extra pass rush should make up for losing Aquib Talib and TJ Ward. Depends on how well the line can stop the run.
    We all know Case Keenum's history overall of putting up numbers but not winning games, but he may have permanently turned the corner with the Vikings last season. He will be an upgrade over what they fielded last season. Adding Royce Freeman will be a big help. They desperately need a third option at wide receiver and a tight end. Is Jake Butt is the answer? No matter what, with the defense they have, if they can just move the ball even a little and can cut down on the turnovers, I think they will be playoffs contenders this season. No place to go but up. Go Broncos!!!

      Watched him every snap at Oregon. He has great vision but heavy feet. He falls forward after contact at the line most the time. These are highlights over 4years playing. He doesn't have like 2 or 3 50+ yard runs in his career. He will be a second string back for a few years and get rotated out and lost in the trade game. He just isn't fast enough to be a number one back. But he is a good 3-4yd rusher

      @MileHighHighlights  5 лет назад +1

      NF is actually dope one of my viewers recommended him to me. Ya I don't know what to say about Freeman in fantasy. Everyone expects him to be the next Hunt or Kamara but I feel like that's too high of an expectation. He's overvalued I think and I believe the Broncos will be rb by committee this year. He could amaze people though

    • @VincePaulBeats
      @VincePaulBeats 5 лет назад +1

      NF reminds me of the dude from Linkin park who rapped in some of their songs. Yeah it does seem like everyone is so high on all the rookie RB's just based off of what rookies have been doing the last few years in the league. I think he's worth getting. There was some stat I saw on Freeman about his quickness being in the top like 15% in the league, and being a bigger back that says alot about him. Like that run at 3:30 you can tell how quick his feet are it's pretty ridiculous. Anyways, outside of fantasy lol, I hope the best for him, and great job making the video!

    • @DiegoMex7
      @DiegoMex7 6 лет назад +4

      Nick Scherer Elway had a different mindset of drafting players this year than last years, in this draft class. Most of the picks were captains or have leadership qualities/ high character and with great work ethic. Freeman have the mindset of that ,instead of Montee Ball's alcoholic mindset.

    • @nickscherer6178

    • @DiegoMex7
      @DiegoMex7 6 лет назад +1

      No problem man, I understand that we sometimes we get cocky and overconfident about something and later it doesn't pan out. But I mean Freeman was a beast in college, him and Nick Chubb were future 1st rounders in their earlier years as college players, but they fall off to injuries. I do see Freeman as a workhorse rb, and hes more talented than the rest of the rb core that Denver has. Try to see Sutton, Freeman and Yiadom press conference, i know you will feel better ;)

    Every time I watch Freeman run, I think to myself "he has a bit of a younger Marshawn Lynch to his game". I like the make-up of the Broncos running back room. If they can get that line fixed, their running game will be good. With that said, it is hard to run behind a line that is not doing it's job well regardless of how talented you are as a runner.

    I"m really excited about Royce Freeman. A tough back, durable; he can take contact and dish it out, but all of that coming with impressive speed, and a nose for the goal line. I think all of his carries at Oregon are a strength, rather than a weakness.
    As a student of 50s-70s NFL football history, Freeman reminds me of 4 fascinating running backs: the Packers' Jim Taylor, the Bears' Rick Casares, and the Vikings' Bill Brown and Dave Osborn.
    If Freeman were to end up being even 75% as good as any of those 4 players, the Broncos can count on him as a fine playmaker, in their backfield, for many years to come.

      Paul Bloede I love Freeman, but tough and durable aren't exactly accurate. I hope he can develop into that for the Broncos, but when banged up in the college career, he lost a step and ran tentatively. He has all the tools though.

      +Captain Hiltz I'm an Oregon fan and tough and durable is accurate what he says Trust me it takes a Whole DL to tackle him. You can't even list things he needs to improve he is Unbelievable.

      Oregon Ducks Football/Basketball as an Oregon fan you should know he’s battled injuries the last 3 years. Did you forget the meaning of durable?

      2299mikey Injuries aren’t an error. I didn’t say anything to prove I don’t know “Durable” someone woke up with a sore ass...

      Oregon Ducks Football/Basketball your right you completely disregarded the fact he’s had one healthy season. That is a durability issue. If you can’t stay on the feel then you’re not durable so that’s clearly not an accurate way to describe him. You’re the classic fan that can’t look at shit objectively and then gets pissed when someone simply proves you wrong

    I love my Ducks, but I don't follow the NFL. How the hell did Royce Freeman go in the third round? Oregon has had some amazing backs and wide outs over the past few years. If we can just get our defense up to it also. I love the wide outs blocking at Oregon.

    He looks like he will be the #1 RB, welcome to Denver. Also, looking at the tape that #64 OT has some hustle( at 1:38 in the video), the Broncos could use him,.Hope they invite him for a tryout ( his name is Tyler Johnstone).
