After watching the new season of Curb, I found out that Richard and Larry were born 3 or 4 days apart, in the same year. And while I was googling it, I remember asking myself which one will die first. But the way Larry is going, I think he'll be able to reach 100 pretty easily.

You know what's happened to me Bill, I lived in Massachusetts for thirty years after moving there from LA after I moved from Vancouver and am now living back in Canada and I talk like I'm from Southy. I can't shake the Boston accent after working construction there for decades. Every time I start complaining about something, the Boston/Southy accent pops up. I worked as a union carpenter out of local 40 on the Big Dig. I had to learn to speak in Boston English so the guys on the job site could understand what I was saying.

Fuck the gym, you know what I did? They took away our scrap metal bin in the garage so we need to walk out to the big bin in the lot. So when I got metal truck parts that need to be in the bin I just use them as free weights and pump some iron on the walk out to the big bin out back.

But, those people of the "community" who never had much, or any, such representation before will still love it and lap it up, because they had nothing before. And even this disproportionate, often token, often lazily written, often gratuitous representation will still mean a lot to them, so they don't even stop to step back a notice the bigger picture, to over-arcing trend. If they did, they'd be taking these writers and producers to task for their 'cautious inclusion' that is simply cowardice pretending to be doing a lot for diversity/representation.
