I was very intrigued by this. I'm certainly not a pot noodle carper! But after the price and the amount of gaps in the stoven I think I'll stick my good old Dutch oven. My Hasselback potatoes are legendary!
Fair play lads, roast dinner on the bank would be insane 🤯 not something I would buy but I’d be very jealous if someone was in the swim next door eating like a king whilst I’m boiling the kettle for my pot noodle
So you need two of them(£360) to cook a roast, lug 10kg of metal around and a fortunes worth of gas bottles? Carp anglers are so gullible. There are far better, cheaper, lighter outdoor/camping cooking systems around without the carp tax and running costs
This looks like a good product but I'll be sticking to my cobb bbq even when buying a couple of extra bits like the griddle and the frying pan or the wok type pan it's still cheaper yes the cobb is fired by charcoal and not gas so it's not going to be affected bye inconsistent gas pressure in zero plus temperatures however it can be moved if needed even at temperatures of 220 because of the base I'd like to see a comparison between the cobb bbq and the nd stoven
@@darrenfox1879 I love the Cobb, took a few goes to get used to it but a great bit of kit. Just be patient and don`t keep lifting the lid and you will be fine with it.

I've got this product. It is wicked. I've cooked full fry ups but havent tried a roast with it tho. Very good product. But it does get dangerously hot so would touch any of the metals only use the handle to open the oven. Top product
I have been cooking roast dinners on the bank for yrs. I don't see this any good for a roast dinner. Your actually using 2 ovens to cook 1 dinner and still really not the room. Your also sat there with a meal on your knees yet no steam coming from either plate.. Think I will stick with the oven I have. I can cook everything I need in just the 1 oven.. And it's all hot on the plate
@@jimjam8149 well no, because I bought my Colman 7 years back for €100. And if you want the oven. Which is €70. €5 petrol would last you weeks €170. Is far better than £200🤷🏻♂️

Bunch of clowns… Roasts have been part of bankside food on the syndicates I fish for best part of a decade since most use Cobb’s. Cheaper as well than using a gas oven for this amount of time. Can even do similar with a saucepan & a Ridgemonkey Toaster - stewed beef at home & sealed in vacuum bags (reheat on bank & reheat pre-made yorkshires in the Ridgemonkey). No need to buy one of these Stoven’s at all! More gimmicks from ‘New Direction’ - not seen a single item that any angler worth their salt would use!
READ ME. VIEW MY ITEM IMAGES ON ..... A-MA-Z-ON !!! My VERY Detailed review of this VERY expensive Cooking Oven. -------------- Build Quality = 3 / 10 For £179 I was VERY disappointed to find the items held together with rivets and NOT been MIG welded, this is ** VERY ** poor..... It cuts the costs of skilled labour. The oven is also missing a flame guard? This flame guard was included in the very 1st versions of this oven 2 years ago, now removed for cost? & replaced with a solid shelf, this shelf could very quickly over heat the bottom of the food on this shelf, it also restricts the heat from getting to the upper wired shelf. Because of this I have made my own flame guard ( see images enclosed in this review ) I basically placed a nut & bolt through the fittings that are made to take the flame guard. Would be interested in how many gas cans you used between them to cook that.
One step closer to brining the kitchen sink with you 😂
Coleman have made a fold up oven for camping since the 1960.s which folds flat for easy storage

Looks good but with my luck I would have a run and the dinner would end up in the ground lol 🤣
Cobb for me everything I've had from nd only lasted 12mths and rubbish customer support
need a fork for that gravy, bang on haha. Still think a cobb is the way forward though.
Think ill stick with a sandwich ....no more room in the car with all the current amount of kit....LOL
Oooo might have to get this absolutely love hunters chicken and roasties be a gods end this thing
Not for me but I know plenty of people who take cobbs on the bank so I suspect this'd be right up their street
If they have a Cobb, they won’t be buying one of these downgrades.

So how many gas tanks did it take ..?? Bit ridiculous really …
Buy a bait boat 2, they catch fire much faster and burn your house, not just your dinner!
Great to have at home when Putin turns off the gas. Don't know if I want to take 20 gas canisters with me when I go fishing.
