Non sealed is a complete deal breaker despite the other features. I have an older shark that I know isn't sealed and I hate it so if I'm going to upgrade thats one of the main features I want. I wonder if the sealed systems compromise the suction power? Thanks for saving me some cash at any rate.
I’m stuck between this one and the levoit stick vacuum! All of our floors (except for our bathrooms and kitchen obviously) are carpeted! We have two beagles, which are a breed known for shedding a LOT year round, and a cat. Apparently beagle fur defies gravity because this stuff just floats everywhere, so definitely looking to use the vacuum on all surfaces 😅 We have carpeted stairs that need to be vacuumed frequently as well! If anyone has compared the two, especially with carpet performance, let me know!
That's surprising coming from Bissel, their cordless vacuums always had meh suction power. I had a Bissel Icon Advanced and was kinda happy with it except for rugs where it struggled a bit. Recently the battery kinda died and Bissel was unable to change it, and since I had it under extended warranty they provided me with a full refund (after keeping my vacuum cleaner for 3 months telling me they'll receive the battery "next week" each week...). With that refund I added 200€ and bought a Dyson V15 Absolute instead which was the best decision I made. Even if that Bissel Cleanview XR Pet is amazing, the fact that they couldn't do a battery change on a 400€+ 3 year old vacuum gave me distrust in the brand honestly and I wouldn't buy anything from them again.
nice price for this power, features with a reputable brand. what's the catch: judging from the max runtime of just 45min., it just uses six 18650 battery cells-too weak cells for the motor-no wonder it has reviews of terrible battery life. Even if you buy a new or another battery pack, it be dead pretty soon. It should be standard that a reputable cordless should use 2070 or 2170 battery cells. 18650 cells still viable if used in at least 7-cell or more configuration.
Can you use another 24v battery on it? I have it but the battery does get used up quickly on the max power setting, so I wanted to buy a second battery. On Amazon I see an off brand of 3.0 Ah 24 V battery, the one from bissell, and one from green works. Would those two other batteries work?

Agree, I used to love Dyson but the fact that they don't have a robot product that can vacuum, wash and self empty yet is a joke... Haven't touched mine in 2 years since I got my RoboRock.

The V15 is a different class. The V8 is the closest in size and capacity as this product.

This looks like it is competing with the Dyson V11, not the V8. I would like to see if the Bissell has effect cyclones.
Its bin is smaller than the V8 let alone the V11. The V8 seems more comparable but not a sealed system so no thanks.
