Mrs Lori, I’m so happy to know that you are now retired and able to spend all day every day with him now! I thought I would have the same and looked forward to that time in my life. Our love had only deepened as we aged together. But then he was diagnosed with brain cancer at the age of 60. He died two years later. That was five years ago. Life is so lonely without him. Enjoy every day that God gives you two together. Always tell him how much you love him bc we aren’t promised tomorrow. Listening to this song made me cry but they were happy tears.
