I've just done the same...gone from a 981 Cayman GTS to a 991.2 Base Carrera with black sports exhaust, chrono package etc. I also had mine for 6 years and absolutely loved it , but like you, I'm now on the rude side of 50 😁, and I think the Cayman suits a more younger spirited driver. I'm hoping the 911 is everything I want it to be. Can't wait to get it. Regards
I’ve owned my Boxster for almost 6 years now and am hoping to move up to a 911 myself in the coming years. Beautiful car. I love the brown and blue. I’m also looking at some 991.2 bases as they are the most affordable and plenty powerful for regular road use. Enjoy yours!

make sure to look for one with chrono and sport exhaust...its amazing with the base👍
