rhamkin did a bulk of the layout, i worked on detailing and optimization, the seal model was made by fgd5 and blaholzen, and animated by lo-fi. these things are never made by a single person ;)
My harp seal themed cosmetics (best I could with clubsy the seal and the seal mask), as well as objector decal, will finally be put to good use! Just have to play the map when it is a full moon, though. I will have to get another objector that has the official TF2 seal on it.
Man, I love this map. It is by far my favorite from this update. Thank you so much for giving an underrated mode like Player Destruction such a lovely twist!
Imagine if this map was also in payload, but instead of a bomb whoever gets the seal to their side of the map by luring it in with the fish they got by killing each other, that would be hilarious.
Finally, Selbyen is in the game. You've done it. We’ll finally have world peace. Crime will disappear overnight. World hunger will be solved. Everyone will to be busy playing TF2 and looking at seals to do any bad things ever.

This map changed my opinion on player destruction as game mode, i will be honest. i never liked the game mode but after playing Selbyen. i realized it's not a game mode problem but most maps made for it sucks. one of my favorite modern tf2 maps.
Selbyen is a real place in Norway so the announcer should be Norwegian Edit: Okay so I don't think Selbyen itself exists IRL but it's based off of Norwegian fishing towns

PD is my favorite game mode type, this map is really well done, the bases for the teams are perfectly spaced for combat too, a rare thing indeed.
