Gladys is the creation of Scott Hardy, a comedian and fire fighter(not kidding!). He has a RUclips channel called Uncle Mullet. But you will never see Gladys on there, because her identity remains a secret.
I came to this video after seeing Shucked, the musical on Broadway. I love that they used the "we love Jesus, but we drink a little" on a song. Sooooo funny.
She kinda reminds me of my grandma :) every time she calls she tells me about everything in detail and i just go along like ellen :) i love her soo much -3

The original call was done by a comedian from Austin who regularly calls the local radio stations as "Gladys" (or used to) as entertainment on the morning shows. He calls every now and then, but hasn't in awhile. He recently moved to Bastrop, which is near Austin. So no worries about sweet old Gladys.
