great techniques! just wanted to ask, will the shibori lose its shape if you stitch to something like a garment? like as a trim or a shoulder strap?

Hi, it depends how much pressure is put on the fabric I've had some pieces keep there shape for years but I didn't put anything heavy on the fabric, I have seen this used on many garments and its worked well 😊

Does cotton or any other fabric work for this shibori technique?

Hi, cotton and silk will also work, thicker fabrics wouldn't work too well/ would not change shape or hold the shape as easily. Hope this helps 😊
