i would just like to mention that balancing a book on the tip of your ballet shoe (which is SOFT) is practically impossible and i am not going to try that and that u mean a pointe shoe because i get triggered about ballet related topics but having books everywhere while eating is literally me lol

That tangent was really important for those of us who paint in poverty and draw in destitution. I can't afford to ball on a budget. But knowing that it makes more sense to get the markers new is extremely helpful.
If you listen carefully though, she said the cost of THREE brush nibs is the cost of one marker. And she is able to bring a marker back to life. So she would have to compare the cost of how much she saved per marker, if those are the colors she actually uses, how often she really has to replace the nibs. Sometimes just purchasing 2-4 colors that you personally would use is more cost effective than a whole set of 12 used from someone that abused them but you only use 3 of those colors that you then have to replace the nibs and refill them.
The one from last year really wasn’t so bad - the hair looks a little darker and there is more white in general but it doesn’t stand out as very different to the others, at least not to me and you can easily see they are a series. Don’t be so hard on yourself!

Don't ask me why but when I saw this character, I imagined this whole storyline where she was a super smart history major who used her knowledge of her hometown's history to solve local historical mysteries connected to the supernatural, with thebhelp of her college friends. As an adult, she's working at the archives, and she's sneaking on her boss's back to continue her private research. Maybe her best friend is a medium and they use their respective talents to conduct investigations together. Honestly I'd read that as a webcomic lmao.
I really really wish that there was a way to know that you are OK instead of just waiting for months praying and not knowing anything 😢 I have loved watching all of these bullet journals and everything else you do my favorite is watching you do what you ❤️ with beautiful girls but I love every thing that you have made there's not one video that I haven't enjoyed emencely ❤❤❤
It amazes me when sometimes you forget just how long you've been watching a person...and then they come out with videos like these... You just sit back and just reminisce about just how you've been a long for the ride and watching this journey take place along with picking up a few lessons and tips for your own journey.... I love the way you draw, as if even a light stroke of a pencil can turn into the most beautiful thing in the world. It makes it look magical, even the simple way the face looks. It's always after you finish drawing a character that I myself can picture a story for her life, as somebody who writes books it's fun to imagine a story for different people I see. Either it's random people on the street, or others drawings.

I don't often comment on your videos, but I've been watching for a long time and your mindset about art has made me more positive about my own art. Like it being okay if you don't draw something great every time, or just being willing to take risks (like having a really good drawing and then adding on to it coz maybe it'll make it better! or maybe it'll be worse but you gotta try!!), or just having a mentality of art as a journey. I have been watching your videos since late 2016, after I graduated from college and moved away from my artist friends. I was feeling so isolated and alone, but finding your videos where you spoke about these characters you'd created and shared their backstories with us... it really made me feel like I was just hanging out with my friend. All these years later, I still cling to some of these annual videos like a lifeline. My partner has been getting into art lately and wanted to learn more about markers. He watched multiple marker reviews (that I suggested, of course) and now he is trying to find artists that draw some more fantasy type illustrations, but keeps referring to your videos in the search. Thank you for all of the work that you do and all of these years of sharing your art with us.
