    Thanks for your comment. I posted this video for my student and never really expected anybody else to watch it. I can post my acidfast, capsule and endospore videos that I had made for my students.

    30 seconds?! My professor makes me wait 1 minute each time. And only 3-4 seconds when i use the alcohol to decolorize. My work could have been done faster if i waited 30 seconds. Thanks so much!!

      This video is pretty good, but uses a nonstandard protocol.
      It is supposed to be 1 minute for crystal violet and Gram's iodine; 45 seconds for safranin. No more than 15 seconds for decolorizing (3-4 seconds would likely increase the risk of underdecolorizing Gram-ve)

    Please do more of the staining techniques. Simple, Negative, Spore, Acidfast. Your delivery is very goood, makes learning enjoyable.

    your timings are wrong. Violet and Grams are 1 minut saf. is 45 secs
