When I was a youth Pastor long time ago they led worship during a 3 day youth convention called Ascension Convention. I thought how are they going to lead worship and man it was so anointed, they are sincere Christians, who know how to worship!!!
I was going through a very tough time in my life since then both previous wives have passed away I'm retired My kids have all grown up My mom passed away my sister passed away and would financial burdens this was what was going through my mind during the concert I went 8 Nov 23 Bismarck North Dakota. This music made me feel the freedom that I experience when I first heard their album it was an awesome time that night at their concert I felt it was a divine intervention to what I was always thinking about thank you Skillet for your awesome music
I Love Skillet Since 2021 And Forever 🤘🔥🎸🎶💯, Jen Ledger Is Beautiful. This Band It's Not Only A Great Christian Metal Band It's One Of The Greatest Metal Bands In History.
@@raidrfrk I'm not a skillet die hard fan but ive watched a few bits of various concerts of their songs i like and she never played drum on this song. I believe she did play drums on this at winterjam when I saw them live over a decade ago but thats it.
Wasn't promoting. Just messing around like every band does when they are trying to fill time. Now, if he said go check out Metalica and their song Enter Sandman because it's a cool song; or something along those lines. That would be a form of promotion. In this case, he did not. He was having fun, like all bands do, that love the line of work that they are in.
They probably hired him to play live how the records/singles sounded and he wanted to do his own thing to standout. When bands have sole songwriters they don't want someone to stand out. They just want them to play the damn songs how they are written. Most people have no clue that most successful bands only have 1 or maybe 2 song writers. The other members are only there to play the songs live. A lot of musicians struggle with that even though they go into it knowing that they don't have final say.

@@risenvideo8474 nice!
A skillet Metallica Cover would be awesome though
Skillet could definitely pull that off
Now they should play a metallica song
This is EPIC

Awesome

I seen Seth using his looper. No idea why he just doesn't play it without it. Such a small stage as well, wonder where this was?
Skillet performance was on the Fox Summer Stage in NYC
I was thinking the same thing. By the time "Hero" came out they were VERY well known.
0:24 cmon keep playing that’s a good song
it really isnt

Why is Jen not playing drums
To change it up, she didn’t play drums on the song Hero on the Victorious tour.
@@risenvideo8474 that makes sense
i love jen just singing it out
Of all Hero lives I've seen, she never plays drums for this one.

Where’s Metallica?
Where is the bass? 🤔 Backing track?
Most likely. Or the bass tech, might be standing on the side and doesn't want to be seen.
Bass?
Where is the chick drummer they switch ?
On their whole tour on this song only Jen had a backup drummer so that she can sing with John.
Where is this?
Fox & Friends in NYC
No bass? 😢
Where is the bass player? Must be playing to a backing track I guess. So unfortunate.
Good call, John Cooper is normally their bass player.
@@risenvideo8474 Why isn't he playing then? It's not truly live then.
@@sd5775 I’m pretty sure they had a bass player on the side of the stage for only two songs that they played that day.

A lesser band promoting the most famous metal band to exist? Okay bud
How is he promoting one of the most well known bands ever? Lol
I know someone who was in Skillet for a short period around 2006-08 and had nothing but bad things to say about how controlling they all were.
They probably hired him to play live how the records/singles sounded and he wanted to do his own thing to standout. When bands have sole songwriters they don't want someone to stand out. They just want them to play the damn songs how they are written.
