Go back and play the old arcade/SNES Turtles beat-em-up games, then come back and tell me Shredder's Revenge lacks "modern touches".
The truth is that Shredder's Revenge feels _way_ more smooth and responsive than the games it emulates. It's a faithful homage to an old-school genre, but those games _didn't_ have modern mechanics like dodge rolls, had very little variety in attacks, and were very stiff to control.
Shredder's Revenge is an old-school game for sure, but it _absolutely_ has modern touches.
Shredders revenge is the best TMNT game released in years. But this looks very good too. I wants it.
This should be on the Switch and PlayStation with multiplayer!!

This game is so awesome feels like it should be on the switch or on consoles
This game has to make the port! Sadly, a lot of people will ignore this game because it’s Apple Arcade. Very solid game

There should be a console release, nobody is ever gonna go buy a subscription to that just for a turtles game.
I did! I had never been on Apple Arcade before until I saw this game release. Signed up for one month. Connected through my Apple TV, used my dual sense and it felt like a console game. When I was done cancelled subscription and couldn’t have been easier. 5 bucks well worth it. Also there looks to a be a cool looking James Bond game that looks like a top down hitman coming at the end of the month. You could play both of those in a month for about 5 bucks. I would also be surprised if it didn’t eventually come to some consoles
I did.
I’ve had Apple Arcade since it was a thing and best thing I’ve done. The games are pretty good especially the graphics. Also you get Apple TV, Apple Music etc as well when you sub!

And the game is actually difficult for me some who plays dark souls like games 😂I would only get Apple Arcade for this shovel knight dig and dead cells
Yeah the choices of upgrades are challenging. Getting more speed or better dash cooldowns are key but so is damage. What turtle have you been mainly using? It’s Mike all the way for me.

This game is fun and actually somewhat challenging
kinda weird to play TMNT solo. but yeah i know the old games had solo gameplay

Why put down Shredders Revenge so much?
Only thing I don’t like is I can’t play with friends unless I add them to the Game Center
They just announced it’s coming to consoles with multiplayer so that will probably be easier.

I am recently played this game but i dont know why there is no save option when i moved to next chapter even if i die in other chapter it resets back to to leatherhead level again n again why is that?
It’s a rogue lite, which means that it will always start you back to first level but you will get to keep your upgrades that you purchase in the lair. You’ll have to beat the game in one run once you get strong enough, learn the patterns of enemies etc
@@VDGMS but in other rogue lite games u can save ur progress when moving onto next chapter sadly this is not the case with this one. Its annoying :(
Ah. I think a lot of rogues stop that so people don’t cheese it. Not sure if that is why they did it or not. Returnal didn’t have a save system for about a year ish, until they added a system that allowed you to save that would only let you load it once and then it was deleted.

Don't like games where I can't keep my upgrades I'll pass.
