It really is such a great game! Def one of the best TMNT games that I’ve played.
It's a crime that this game is ONLY on apple devices. Like other user mentioned before, this game needs to be enjoyed on every device and every platform. I'm playing it and absolutely love it, this could be the best TMNT game ever created. This HAS to come to PC!
It is def one of the best TMNT games out there and a true crime more won't get to play it. I truly believe after a while that they'll port it over, but who knows how long the exclusivity will last :/
@@Ogles Yeah. Something similar’s happening with World of Demons. That Platinum game should’ve been out for consoles and PC years ago but for some reason, it’s being kept locked away with its wings trimmed, safely inside the apple arcade library. Truly sad.
This game needs to be on all platforms and phones. Glad I have Apple Arcade. Great under the radar game

I went to update my apps and saw an apple arcade ad for new games and saw it.
As soon as it came across my newsfeed yesterday I got right on it! Honestly it's a ton of fun and even had it loaded up on my break at work today, lol. You'll have to let me know what you think of it as well!
The PS icons are an Apple feature because you can play on an Apple device with a PS/XBox controller and the buttons will reflect your controller, try it out! Great review

@@Ogles they should port it PlayStation and Xbox upgrade the graphics add some new content they could make it cheap too like 15 or 20 bucks or even better have it in gamepass or ps now
I’m really interested in this game after it’s announcement on Switch. As a huge TMNT fan, I simply can’t get enough of TMNT games, hell even TMNT crossovers in games like Injustice 2 and Fortnite, but man this game looks like a lot of fun, and I’m a huge fan of the art style. Not sure if it was confirmed to be getting a physical release but fingers crossed it does, because it’s rare mobile games get to be preserved with a physical release.
It really is a fantastic game and I’m sure you’ll really enjoy it! And they didn’t mention a physical release but I could see limited run games doing something with it at some point.
should really hit all the consoles for sure pc, switch, Xbox, Ps and so on everybody would 100% pay to get this lets hope they do re-think and consider doin for all us TMNT fans

It does seem pricey but honestly I'd say the game is worth the $30 price tag. Especially with it being one of the only Hades style games with local coop
@@Ogles I don't understand why a game like this hasn't came out for consoles, I'd buy this immediately, they could add dlc where we play as Karai and Usagi, as well as Casey Jones and April O' Neal, lol. 😃

Love Hades. Love TMNT. I think the devs got a better deal keeping it exclusively for Apple Arcade for a certain period. There's a lot of TMNT fans that would love this if it was on Steam/PS/Xbox/Switch. Hopefully it releases to other platforms soon!

We use the PlayStation controller on our Apple TV and you can even hook a controller up to your iPad or phone.

Awesome you got a friend joining you for the adventure! I got a buddy of mine to give it a test run as well! Maybe one day they'll port it to a console where I have more friends readily available to play. And haven't played Ultimate Alliance, but need to check it out!
Tmnt 2012 were the last best series rise of Tmnt just the movie was the bomb 💣💣💣 and this gameplay also reminds me of Out of the shadows PS4

You can use a PS4 controller, maybe ps5 idk, on your iPhone or iPad or the best device an Apple TV and it shows the buttons of the ps controller like that. It’s a really good experience on the Apple TV.

Awesome review. I love this game too. The PlayStation control scheme may come from a Backbone. Then maybe MFi controllers and there is a PlayStation version of it.

@@Ogles I do struggle with on screen controls when gaming. I can honesty say that 90% of our family’s Apple Arcade time is alto’s adventure; does look beautiful on the telly and such a simple to play, challenging to master set up. Quite enjoyed Shantae too altho I’m unsure if it’s still on there. Cheers amigo!
@@RetroEdUK Never played Alto's Adventure so will definitely give it a go! And Shantae is one I know of but have never played over the years. I still remember seeing it in Nintendo Power magazine when I was kid. Will have to see if it's still on there too! Thanks for the suggestions!

Looks interesting, but I really wish they'd just port the 2017 arcade game based off the 2012 show though.
I wish they'd port it over too, because I've never got to play that one; HOWEVER, this one is pretty fantastic!
@@Ogles I'm sure this game will be a good one, and looks nice too. But hopefully an emulator such as TeknoParrot can figure out the 2017 arcade game before long, if a console version never sees the light of day, someway, somehow though.

Do you know if there’s a way to start from a check point if you die? Or do you have to start over every time?
Have to start over every time. It the way roguelike games work. But you’ll get more powerful each time allowing you to cover the earlier levels faster. Hope this helps!

Sadly it’s only currently on Apple Arcade, but I can imagine it staying there forever because it’s just too good of a game to stay stuck on there.

I am playing this game with my kids but how come we always have to start from ch1 with the co-op mode? Could we start the ch2 or 3 or whatever we were up to?
Sadly you have to start at level 1 each time. It's a rougelite game and that's part of the mechanics of that genre. Hope this helps!

Will pressing start a new run delete your old run?
I believe so. You can have multiple save files for different adventures; however, in one save file you have to finish a run before starting a new one. Hope this helps!

How do you upgrade your health
You have to collect dragon coins and then trade them in at the altar on the far right and upgrade your health from there. Hope this helps!

Sadly no :/ Have to be online and has to be with friends only. They really made it cumbersome to do multiplayer. Luckily the single player is a ton of fun; however, would be better with friends. Thanks for watching!
