Yeahhh! I was like, is he that same man!😂 He's very bubbly unlike his role which is very emo. Just a proof that he is a very good actor and same to gwen!

I never thought constipation would sound so nice until Tom said, "Ode to constipation." 😂 These two have such great combination both in the show and in real life --- they make each other laugh. Actually, Tom has chemistry with everyone in the cast, which is a rare and awesome feat. Really cracked me up with Gwendoline Christie admiring Tom's complexion and excellent bone structure & Tom being friends with the raven who's a fan of Tolstoy. 😅
Tom is so charming he can literally talk 💩 and we'd all sit there in awe

@@akbarrmd7714 Precisely, some folks here were saying that this is a cringe fight, but they do not have idea how omnipotent and nigh-omnipotent entities fight each other. Maybe they were expecting a dragonball-like fight Lol.
@@theartofmusic714 agreed, plus, Dream is known for their mental powers, so its natural for the battle is in the form of imaginative battle.
My only issue with it is though you can play it differently the ending would just go back to blackhole and hope
It was one of my favourite scenes in the series. Especially the end when Morpheus tells Lucifer that dreams were needed in hell so the damned new the meaning of their own suffering. Powerful stuff.

I love to see him laugh, act like a human. God, it makes me respect his portrayal even more. Astounding. How is it possible that you can act so good that you give so little emotion yet so much?
Gwendoline’s exemplary enunciation add chills to Lucifer’s characterization, while Tom’s velvety baritone is so gloriously soothing, much like a king of dreams should sound.
That was the most cheerful “See you in hell!” I have ever heard 😂
I love how he didn't even for a second think she might have thought HE hated her, but immediately thought of it as her explaining her acting process and deliberately making the choice to think that Morpheus did. Because my insecure ass would NEVER.
Also, I fully believed him when he said "intentional"
All I can say is, I love the casting and they're realistic performance!
I love that Tom so invested in his character! Gwendoline is great as well,I can't wait to see how much she will bring to her character Lucifer Morningstar!

see, this is my problem. i want to watch it. badly. but i've been burned a lot recently on shows that did not get an additional season, left on cliff hangers: the order, Julie and the Phantoms, first bite, etc. like...i want to watch, but i'm afraid to watch, but if people don't watch, there won't be more to watch. it's a self fulfilling prophecy :(

@@jayb1753 even if there isn’t a season 2, it by itself could stand as just one season. Yes, the ending let’s on that there is more to come but but it isn’t necessarily heavily implied that a second season is needed. Therefore, you MUST watch it, I promise you won’t regret it. The storyline, the writing, the acting, the effects everything is amazingly thought out and executed extremely well. So please don’t miss out on a show like this!!

I mean I’m glad they’re having fun, but it’s not a reaction because they don’t follow the scene and react. They’re just adding sporadic, occasional commentary.
Netflix better not cancel this great show. Lucifer deals with morpheus in volume 4 (Season of Mists) and I'll assume that is season 2. You have a better Game of Thrones in your hands Netflix. Please don't waste it.

I really thought they would physically fight but they actually only fight using words 🤣 Either way this series was good. I really hate Desire! I want Dream to beat him up or destroy his castle.

If you hate Desire then you have transphobia. Desire is androgynous. Also, you do not approve of Desire's sensual emoting. Not to mention they keep on scheming and manipulating. They're inherently deceptive. You should appreciate how well they portrayed Desire. The casting was perfect.

The reason why Dream is terrible in his relationship as it feeds “Desire”, where Dream does not want to be controlled by.
Desire & Despair despise Dream, because of people’s dream, people tend not to desire nor to despair anymore.
Desire caused Corinthian to desire in living in the Waking world & to kill people, thus forcing Dream to walk on earth. Desire also pushed Roderick Burgess to want his dead son to be back, thus imprisoning Dream. Despair’s realm grew, while Dream is in prison, while people died in their sleep & Corinthian is killing & inspiring the Collectors.
Desire impregnated the sleeping Vortex while Dream in in prison, & Dream almost killed Grandniece of Desire & Vortex that could cause his life. Desire sets everything in motion for Dream’s demise.
In Season 2 Desire will set the motion by influencing Lucifer to want to be with humans, where Lucifer will handed the Key of hell to Dream, where he will face demons & entities that wished the key for themselves to rule Hell.

Gwendoline just has a very imposing personality and she unwillingly takes over the conversations most of the time because there a lot going in her mind that she likes to share , so you know Tom just seems kind of overwhelmed by all of it but he also just letting her speaking because is entertaining
@@ukiyoideas2215 Tom isn't overwhelmed, he is himself a very imposing personality. He interrupts her as much as she interrupts him, and he teases her as well. If you watch other interviews you can see he's a guy from whom personality takes huge space (I'm losing my english), but it is part of the modern british culture.
Also, some can be disturbed with the difference of character between the actors and their characters, but it only proves how good they are at acting (and how human they are irl)

I didn’t get this game to be honest. If Hope beats all then surely anyone could play Hope and instantly win
It obviously gets higher in scale as the game goes on. It starts from Earth things, to space to feelings and concepts. Hope only works on Licifer because it's what drives her. She hopes to get into Heaven, and that's why Dream wins. Because without hope, Lucifer wouldn't be who she is.
Its not an instant win, the problem is that Lucifer lives in Hope. To aknowledge what kills hope would admission of defeat to God, it would mean accepting that their dreams of heaven were only dreams.
Lucifer was mid.
That was a pretty odd way to introduce her Lucifer…
