Great reaction. It's a little crazy how many songs you hear Lucy cover, both solo and in duets with Martha, and you think "that song was written for her/them to sing." Songs written before their parents' births. And I'm not taking away from the original artists, or iconic covers by iconic artists, but I don't think there's a single song I've heard Lucy sing that didn't immediately replace any other version I've ever heard as my favorite. And she's covered a LOT of songs that I've loved for years. Lucy Thomas is a true gift to us all, and a day no longer goes by when I don't listen to her... and these two beautiful girls singing The Prayer (and not just The Prayer) catches my breath with emotion every time I hear it. WOW!!! Stunningly deep and beautiful. Martha is outstanding! Such a beautiful voice. Lucy is beyond compare and in a class of her own. When these two sisters harmonize their voices, they bring a bit of Heaven to this Earth.

And look at the way Martha stares directly at Lucy @ 4:53 singing La forza che ci dai [ The strength that You give to us ]. Referring to God but I somehow sense she is speaking to her sister too.
As a FYI the girls here, Martha, is 12 years old !!!! She is sitting on a tall stool as she is short, Lucy was 17, there is 5 years and 8 months difference in age, bet too you did not know their mother Louise sings also !!!! See their song SMILE where Louise joins the girls on a special mothers day presentation..... and not surprising their grandmother also sings, one posting where grandmother and Lucy are belting out the tunes on face book. Follow any or all of the songs that were suggested at the end, Martha started recording when she was just 10 years old, Lucy has about 70 songs recorded, Martha has done 9, Lucy is the professional Martha sings for the fun of it !!! Thanks for the react you have just found the BEST female vocalist out there today, LUCY !!!

You know what? Their mother Louise can sing too. They did a video , the three of them , last year , for mother day. They covered an old song from Charlie Chaplin: Smile.

Listening to the younger girl Martha in perfect Italian on her own is almost spiritual and extremely moving. Of course both are awesome - it's just Martha has something very special about her here almost musically Merged with Lucy. One of YTs greatest duets by anyone. Once you have heard this sublime version there is no looking elsewhere. Every time I come back and listen I am equally Overwhelmed and wish to write more praise. You want everyone to realize just how very beautiful this is.

Sometimes you come song a song you can not stop to listen to. For me this is such a song. Lucy and Martha are blending so, so well together. So far every duet Martha is involved in they nailed it totally.

Lucy's voice is on full display here & it is beautiful, elegant and powerful - her voice really is as good as it gets in the world today. - and Martha, just WOW!!
