Some days are better than others when using the volume profile. When you see a 400 point move on NQ the volume profile is very useful for highlighting the areas where big players were getting involved
I do not trade futures, i do forex. That said i would like to share my "expirience" that i had this week about volume's emptiness. It's all i trade with volume profile since my knowledge about it doesn't go much far than this. But, if with pairs like USDJPY and EURCHF was like having a glas of water, with EURUSD the emptiness played out as resistence (hard one) not completely filled until jet. Just sharing. I traded yesterday with the volume profile on. The first two hours of trading the volume profile put the main line way above most of the trading as well as the volume too. Not sure maybe my setting were off , just used standard, but with that set up it was a waste of time all the trading happen not near the main line?
@@h3nry_t122 it's trash cos you don't know how to use it obviously. What trash indicators do you use that work lol ? Relative shit indicator ??? Macd ? Lmao
@@h3nry_t122 You're right - you can't trade with volume profile by itself. You will blow your account trading with just the profile. You still have to use the basics like support and resistance and candle patterns and divergence etc.

How do you use a stop lost trading FUTES?
This would work on a channel day. What happens to VP when you have a day that move like 400 points in nq?
