Stick 'Musk', 'SpaceX', 'Tesla' or 'Cybertruck' in a RUclips video title and you get more views, its just the way it is. Tesla can sell as many as it can make whether or not you think it is a piece of crap.
@@TimothyWhiteheadzm Ford has the best selling pickup trucks of the history of trucks. It sold 750,000+ F series trucks in 2023 alone. Cybertruck isn't even on the board. Their capacity will be around 250k this year and maybe a little more next year. How long will it take to outsell the F150? It'll take congressional legislation for that to happen, and frankly people will just buy one of the other 19 electric pickup trucks on the market if forced.

@@ValentinSerrano-nj4dc not anymore. new Tundra V6s are grenading all over the place due to metal shavings left on the crankshaft during the manufacture process. Just like Hyundai/Kai in 2017, there will be a class action law suit. Toyota is nowhere near the quality it used to be, sadly

Good tires and/or chains alone would have solved half the problems in this video 😅
My 4x4 Ranger EATS offroad, but if I used the tires the cyber trucks have, I'd be just as stuck in some of those places.
What baffles me is that electric motors are fantastic for offroading and high torque at low speed, with excellent slip control, which is exactly what's needed for offroading.
Ride height really is a massive factor, too, I can climb under my stock Ranger easily and I'm not a small guy lol
CT is a perfect example of "No, I'm not going to listen to the people who know how to build cars. I'm doing this from the hip!"
If they just built a Rivian they'd be fine. Or an F-150 Lightning.
The major issue is that the computer senses the spinning wheels, and reassigns torque.. similar to launch control (I don't know what Tesla calls it).
In other words, it's too futuristic for its own good, lol.
Is just buy a Rivian.
What I love most about the Cyber Truck is that a brand new one was assessed in Britain to see if it was legal for British roads. It failed abysmally.

@@milanondrak5564 the bit people don't realise is that it hasn't even passed any US safety tests with a 3rd party, and isnt slated for any 3rd party tests until 2025 at the absolute earliest. Its just the US has an insane system where the manufacturer can self certify that the car meets the safety standards (that the cybertruck obviously doesn't) so because tesla says Musks egotrip vehicle is safe to sell they are allowed to sell it
They wont even submit it for testing in the EU because they know it would be a disaster.

Thing is the Ford F-150 has 94 current unique recalls - latest one 550,000 recalled for bad parking brake - a true piece of garbage as opposed to this video here with the same OLD 2 incidents. Pretty easy to find the Cybertruck out pulling a Super Duty Ford F150 in a sled pull - embarrassing for Ford because a truck should be powerful but a lousy appliance killed it. 👀

@@cuda426hemi If the Cybertruck wasn't trying so hard to reinvent the wheel, no one would care - throwing out proven, tested designs is a risk. Tesla got it right by making the S and 3 bog-standard sedans, it's a format that just works.
Also, all that towing torque is worth a lot less when you have to spend 20 minutes recharging every hundred or so miles.

The long wheel base, and low clearance, plus the weight in the sand and the tires probably not being deflated. It’s all just a recipe for disaster for these new people that think it’s a Jeep.
The amount of problems fixed with better tires in this video is insane.

For those of you who were around in the 70's, do you remember Tonka Toys? Their toy trucks (made of actual steel) were tougher than this thing. You could literally sit on it and it would not break. Your friends could push, while you sat on it through a sandbox with ease.

The problem is that a stuch throttle pedal has happend occasionally with cars in the over 100 years of cars being built.
But until Tesla came along, the brakes of a car were always way stronger than the motors.
In any ICE vehicle, if your throttle is stuck, and you slam on the brakes, the brakes win easily.
Almost any road cars brakes, if properly maintained are equal to 600 to 1000 hp.
And with the gearboxes clutches and torque converters the brakes win even if the engine has 600 or more hp.
With Teslas Plaid models it became pretty clear that they didn't think about having brakes that are able to "tame" the power.
And if you get a stuck throttle in those power regions with those brakes, it's a disaster.

The vast majority of clips he's using are right after release before they updated a lot of the behavior and added off-road mode. It's actually pretty decent to off-road in now, as ridiculous as that is to do in a $100k truck. People are basically paying a premium to beta test which was a horrible PR decision because channels like this will just keep using the old clips over and over.

getting stuck is either a weight or tire selection issue, and probably more often about the tires. Being electric, it's probably packaged on efficiency-biased tires that don't do well in snow/sand.
Locking Diffs is a big difference too. If you notice the truck gets confused and sends power to the wrong tires. There should just be a mode that locks power to all 4 wheels to climb out of stuff.

The Supreme Court couldn’t possibly have been more obvious in their desire to support Trump at all costs. The entire court should be IMPEACHED and replaced with new Justices. Additionally, the court should have been expanded long before now as to reflect properly upon our country’s amazing growth. Additionally, there should be a policy enacted that ensures an equal number of political affiliations so the court remains unbiased.

I actually saw a Cybertruck on the road in the area where I live a few months ago. It's certainly unmistakable, but not in a good way. I took a few photos, and the gaps between the panels are pretty prominent.

@@dougaltolan3017 Most of those videos had pretty normal road tires, not offroad tires. Electric can do better power to the tires, especially controlled, but it can't make the tire grip what it just can't grip. One of thsoe videos was it stuck because it had too low ground clearance so the tires couldn't even reach. That's not really a design issue. That's a driver issue.

I've only seen one of these in the wild and oh my God. It's uglier in person. Watching these videos makes me happy I have my non-cybertruck truck.
When they first came out I was seeing them every other day, it was horrible being forced to see one.
But suddenly, they all disappeared. I saw the first one in maybe a month a couple of days ago.
Wondering if all the new owners are embarrassed to drive them, or the recall took forever, or what.
I've seen one up close. Airsickness bags needed. I've seen a Rivian up close and while the headlights don't appeal to me it actually looks better than in the pictures. And it's a better vehicle in every other way as far as I can tell.
