Man idk, look just my opinion fellas. The divas had to put up with a LOT of nonsense. When momentum was going their way they had some kind of huge setback imposed on them. Trish was the master of politics but she could only do so much, she learned to tweak ideas to get at least a fraction of what she’s asking for and she would share her push. I felt Michelle got more prominent by 2008, she brought the best out of Maria Eve Torres and Maryse. But somehow got hate from fans, I really digged Michelle’s in ring work and with Taker backing her things were pretty great on Smackdown but yeah lot of missed chances WWE squandered like them drowning out Victoria Natalya and Gail Kim, but even with Taker after the tables match in 2010 the momentum Natalya and LayCool had built was killed off at the Royal Rumble. They even had Eve win to keep the belt off of them. And Natalya went back to being a background character and Michelle eventually quit. Freddy Prince Jr even said online he didn’t like how Michelle would go over him to Vince to complain on him but I’m thinking, bro!! You killed that tables match momentum for EVE!????? Fans called him out on his timeline being off and also on him stealing fans ideas from the comments section some years ago, as he claim these as his own. Idk I felt Michelle got a ton of slack but also lot of it came with the territory of being with Taker. Looking back she was the first diva search to get in the ring back in March she was pitted against Dawn Marie AND Rene Dupree lol and then later that month she was used to for Dawn Marie to squash and go over, later Michelle was used in a Velocity match for Torrie to beat her and later for Melina to beat her and they even landed the Snapshot on her. Michelle got “promoted” to jobber diva just sayin man

Didn’t watch that much back in the era with Michelle but I never really cared for her. Something about her seemed very self centered even beyond typical Heel behavior. Had no idea at the time she was hooking up with Taker.

Mark was definitely married at the time. Remember the whole Diamond Dallas Page angle. Which hasn't aged well for anyone involved. Maybe DDP a little bit better because he is a very successful business man. I am shocked about Paul London's reveal that went down pertaining to Mrs. Calloway (Michelle McCool) and the late 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper.

It's cool getting to hear the real stories about what the WWE was/is like and what some of the superstars we've looked up to are really like. You very rarely hear anyone say anything negative about The Undertaker but it's pretty clear the more that we learn about him that he's not a good person in real life. Even from watching interviews with the man himself you start to realize that he's kind of an asshole. It's obvious that he's used and abused whatever political power he's had on so many occasions and he seems to have gotten worse since hooking up with Michelle.
Oh and since Paul's a regular now, just want to state that 10 year-old me was displeased for quite some time when he dropped the title to Nunzio. Kayfabe believing me thought he'd be champ forever or Rey Rey would return to the division to have a cruiserweight title match to end all matches and determine who the best CW really is... but the CW's always got the short end of the stick, same as the women wrestlers on RAW too. :(

To be fair, I think Sara was leaving him at this time and he was having to fight her in court for joint custody of the kids. Allegedly.

Man I loved watching Takers documentary 'The Last Ride ' but damn Michelle really came across as someone who let everything go to her head. That FPJ is janky my dude. The timelines are off. It was in fact FPJ who killed the momentum for Natalya and LayCool in late 2010. He had Eve inserted to remove the belt from the Smackdown girls and take it to Raw away from Michelle and mission succeeded. He was mad because Batista would back Michelle up and let’s face it his work with the divas was crap. He wants to claim credit for something that never happened and his timeline of Kong is wrong. Michelle wasn’t even champion it was Natalya. And Natalya lost it to Eve under FPJ and by Mania Michelle was wrestling Trish Stratus and the divas championship was doing who knows what I’m the Raw side.
