Does anyone know if the rear pads need rotating and pushing in like typical non e-brakes, or is it just pushing only?
once the mechnism is retracted electronically, the pistons can be pushed back and don't need windin back.

Do i leave the car in gear while doing this to stop it from rolling while handbrake off?
You'd usually be working on the rear brakes with it jacked up. So I'd have the from wheels chocked or left in gear
