The s21 for me. A more flexible camera setup than the other two, better ultrawide, better dynamic range, decent selfie camera and prefer the lowlight photos. None are really much of an improvement over last year's versions though
I stopped checking the iPhone after a minute or two, and just concentrated on the Xiaomi and Samsung. For me, it’s the Mi 11 ultimately. Thanks for a great review.
I was going to say I quite like the look of the Mi 11 on 4K@30FPS, until you turned towards the sun and it had a lot more chromatic abberations on the branches with the sun behind. Cheaper lens than the other two?
I own the 12 Pro Max and I have to say I’m happy with the overall camera performance. S21 is also amazing so my last choice would be the Xiaomi Mi 11, that is if we exclude the price point. The S21 wins over the other two. BUT the S21 is comparable with the future Iphone , unfortunately we have a big release gap between the two. By the time we could do a fair comparison it will be too late because the S22 will be again beating the Iphone 13 and so on. My point is to go with the phone brand you’re used to,at least for the moment because none of these phones don’t come with giant improvements and innovations. If I started with Samsung I would definetly go on with their smartphones. I started with Apple, I have lots of accesories so I go with Iphones for now. You really can’t go wrong with neighter, thst is if you can afford them. On night mode video Xiaomi is really struggling.S21 wins the night mode video and also audio is more loud and clear, on Iphone the video looks more smooth in any condition. Also the transition between cameras are smoother on the Iphone. Like I said, the S21 wins in the cameras category.
I wish someone would tell the phone companies for two options one realistic photos and other for filters, same goes in video options that would help the most in nowadays smartphone camera tech. competition.
yes and no...depends what you do with your phone. If you make money with it...and you use those videos/ pictures to make money, by all means... but if you don't...
Hi Alex. It was once again a great video comparison among the best phones on the market. But, met me ask you something... what would you choose between Mi11 and S20 FE as far as the camera (only) is concerned? Thanks
Quite interesting. It seems like most people prefer the S21, but I actually think the iPhone 12 camera is nicer especially for portraits. The focal length (from what I can see from the examples) is more flattering while maintaining a good level. If you can be bothered with a few editing tweaks for colour and a touch of post-sharpening to taste, I think you will end up with better image overall. It feels like the Samsung over processes with heavy noise reduction and edge sharpening which makes it unnatural to my eye because you lose a lot of detail in the textures. Would be interesting to see what the RAW comparison between the phones, but I realise that's unrealistic because most people wouldn't bother shooting RAW with a camera phone. Still rocking a Samsung S7 but I still carry a mirrorless camera for photography.
oh...I finally found it...so...it's under the pictures night mode...but if you hold the shutter button it starts recording video. Only 1080p. I'll use it in the next camera comparison
Question: for the testing the scene optimization was on for the iPhone and the Samsung? I saw on other channels that the scene optimization on for the iPhone 12 tends to let the picture a little bit more non-natural.
I wished you zoomed into the pictures taken by the main camera on all these phones to see which one has the most detail, the Mi 11 would have won in that regard.
For pictures, I'd stick with the S21. For videos, iPhone 12 is still king, though the S21 is pretty good as well in daylight. So, if I have to pick one for both, I'd pick the S21, due to its versatility for stills and good daylight videos.
I was just about to get ready to go to work but this seems to be more important. Your girlfriend used to prefer her portraits taken on the iPhones, isn't it? Has she changed her mind with the S21 series? Just wondering because apart for a slightly warmer tones on the iPhone, Samsung seems to have improved a lot. (Is it still done via crop and not the 3x telephoto lens?)
What's interesting how the Xiaomi phones comes down in price. Here in sweden with a contract you can get the Mi 10T pro for under half the price of what it did cost when it was released. If the Xiaomi 11 pro or ultra will release anytime soon and you wait another 6 months you'll probably be able to buy one for like 300-350 USD with a contract. Thats back for you buck! :p Day time video on the Mi 11 actually outperforms the other two when comes to dynamic range and get the exposure just right. But from this cropped image it's hard to tell how sharpness looks like.
If u can get 1 between mi 10 ultra n mi 11 fr u use 2 to 3 yrs,which 1 will u choice?Or wait fr mi 11 pro hoping it will combaination this 2 to 1 phone.
I have a Xiaomi, the autofocus and sharpness suck bad.... I'm a photographer so I was really really let down. you need to keep still to get a good pic...and my kids never stay still.

I have a question...Can i turn off dolby vision on the iphone 12? Is it sdr or somehow worse then the iphone 11 or samung s 20 or 21?
@@RedskullPro ok great ...so the quality is still good compared to the Samsung s 21 and 20?:) and another question ...is the iPhone 11 a lot different from the camera then the iPhone 12?

Hi! Thank you the review This is just a suggestion but I would love to see how the three perform in social media live streams; for example, Instagram live, Facebook live, TikTok live.
Based on this review, the S21 is the winner. But for me, it would depend on which one does the best at blurry free captures of moving targets(pets, toddlers etc). Consider doing a comparison video about every other feature e.g. weight, build quality, how comfortable the phones are to hold if a person has small hands 🙌 , battery life(especially idle time), UI features, fast charging, price, global availability, accessory availability, years of Android operating system(OS) upgrades promised, track record of the OS upgrade history for the OEM, version of Android and the current Android Monthly Security Update. Lastly, which phone has the quickest shooter when it comes to capturing moving targets. Great 👍🏾 review btw.
To me all three do great but I've decided to go with the MI 11, the price seems reasonable for what it can do. Can't wait to get my hands on with the device :)
what would be great when showing pictures would be to have a 100% sample of the photo to see how much the picture is numerically corrected .. I hate the way iphone10 is blurring edges, when you look at 100% it's all shit. Nice for holidays pictures but when you are making a quick picture of your work, a drawing or a painting, it's just horrible and you just can't take pics on the go. Ok, it's just a phone and we need a pro camera for better shots. But I'd rather have the ability to choose to activate this bluring correction on the picture if I want it or if I prefer to keep noise and fidelity. Would be great to know this detail on the phones you compare. And by the way, fantastic comparisons, thank you! Any Nokia good ?
