Hey Stikker Fam!! The reaction to ep3 of Vikings will be up tomorrow.
Nikki & Steven React
It’s great that Nikki is better!
Nice 😍😍😍😍
Omg Dave foloni as pilot of the middle x-wing 🤩😍
Glad that Nikki's better.
ultimate cameo episode: Mark Boone Jr., Clancy Brown, Richard Ayoade, Natalia Tena, Matt Lanter, Dave Filoni, Rick Famuyiwa and Deborah Chow.
I love that Nikki caught that the Baby was working WITH Mando on this. Most reviewers I've been seeing have thought it was just accidental. No, Baby was running interference. He was getting Zero out of the cockpit to buy Mando time to do his thing.
I agree that Baby Yoda was helping Mando. Zero hacked in to the ship's systems and was tracking the crew, so while distracted he couldn't report Mando's position. This is also the first episode review I have seen point it out, so props to Nikki for that.
Agree, especially pointed out by the baby knowing to hide and that the droid was his "enemy".
Exactly. Once he realized 0 was about to kill him he got him distracted playing hide and seek to give Mando a chance to finish his job.
When baby Yoda was dropped, I screamed 'the baby!!!'
I know its a puppet, but its soooo damn cute.
It's too fucking cute, Disney get all their money back from just selling Yoda's. Very much like "Gizmo" from Gremlins.
@@_themandalorian_ F'n bill burr, dropping babies.
@@_themandalorian_ Did you two make that? lol bill burr
Its not a puppet. Its an animatronic thing. Go to watch the Variety video
@FEAR The Walking Don Mando knows the baby can look after itself. The baby older than him. He fucking lifted a giant rhinoceros in the air. Ate some frogs. Senses shit. :p
Play it off as no big deal, if got other bounty hunters. Obviously not guild members. The droid saw it, though. "Zero" And yoda was like, f this, I'm hiding.
the story of the show is a single father takes odd jobs to support his young adopted son
Seeing this episode , I see that Baby Yoda is learning Papa Mandos’ stealth skills. How scary would Baby be with not only having the force but also the ways of the Mandalorian.
And the Darksaber in his hand............... It will complete the entire picture.
Now imagine baby yoda wearing mando armor
I love how the baby looked at his hand like whoa I did that lol. Nope it was papa Mando, love their dynamic
I kind of wish that Baby Yoda killed the droid instead with it's force power.
Baby Yoda was like "what the fu.....".
So cool!
I agree.
@@DarkMatterLuigi maybe he will some day. Jedi/Force sensitives can as shown in Star Wars episode 1.
Omg 😱😱😱... I just thought of something.
Is it possible that baby Yoda cannot use the force now.?
Remember the conversation of the scientist and the imperial magistrate in episide 3. It's something like this "Extract all of the necessary materials you need " now possibly extract all midichlorians in baby Yoda's DNA.
All three X-Wing pilots are directors on the show :-) Dave Filoni, Rick Famuyiwa and Deborah Chow.
Their like: (LIVING OUR DREAM IN REAL LIFE SCORE!)
You are seeing character building. In episode 4 you see that Mando wants a more settled life and his belief in “the way” may be cracking. In 5, you see that he isn’t just a good warrior, he is smart and strategic. In 6 you see that he is very compassionate BUT will be ruthless particularly when double crossed. He’s not a one note character.
I actually really enjoyed the humanisation of the Tuskens in the previous episode - and it makes sense Luke might not know how to communicate with them, the relationship between settlers and natives is often much harsher despite their proximity compared to when an outsider such as the Mandalorian gets involved
Might be Luke was already in their territory so they wouldn't even care to look at his signing, it's just boot to the head and let's figure out his fate later.
I look back and think it's more that Luke was super sheltered. Not only did his uncle not tell him about his parents and his past. I don't think Luke had ever really been to town. He didn't really know who Ben was. I think Luke's only experience was working on the farm and trading with the Jawas.
@@rugr82day That's not quite it since he has friends (plural) when going to Tosche station and later one of his friends is a Rebel pilot who tells his commander Luke is "the best bush pilot in the Outer Rim Territories" which can only mean Luke did a lot of impressive flying and that doesn't happen if you're basically stuck either farming or reading a book.
@@Mansplainer2099-jy8ps , but doesn't that just mean Luke was stuck at home on the farm when many of his friends got to move on from theirs? To me Luke got to pilot around because he and his friends were "farming" large areas on a desert planet and free time they would speed race just like boys here race go-carts, cars, trucks or tractors in farm country. Maybe even have a race track... A desert planet like that would likely have had the population spread out hundreds to thousands of miles apart the maybe 1 or 2 cities/towns like where they found Anakin and his mom. I don't think Luke himself ever strayed far from home ( seeing new places, new people, new things) even if he's flown a few hundred miles here or there.
@@rugr82day Sure, but that's still not just "farming and trading with Jawas" since we're talking about his encounter with Tuskens. He's a farmboy meeting very angry "red-skinned savages", that he hasn't been to Dallas, Houston etc. is not the issue but he clearly isn'y stuck behind a barbed wire perimeter since he can drive out for supplies and hang out with friends and go racing.
The deveronian (red dude with horns) is Clancy Brown aka Mr Krabs
And he voiced Savage Opress from the clone wars
@Jared Devan And let's not forget Lex Luthor all the way from the Superman series to Justice League Unlimited.
@Jared Devan yup Matt Lanter
MilkyTV what about my drill sergeant Zim from starship troopers?
The enemy cannot push the button if you take his hand! MEDIC!
He'll always be Byron Hadley to me (Shawshank Redemption)
I love how the show uses different movie genres. The first half was a jail break. The second half was a horror film.
The red guy is angry because he thinks they're trying to steal the secret formula
Really surprised me and my mom when we saw Clancy Brown in the end credits XD
"Curse you Krabs!!!" 🤣
This episode basically shows us how much of a true badass Mando is lol. An honorable one at that lol.
Fun fact, there was a Tuskan Raider jedi in the order during Anakins time as a jedi. they also used to be an incredibly advanced species before Tatooine became a desert planet.
The lone Republic human on the ship is played by the guy who voiced Anakin in Clone Wars. Btw, best facial hair configuration we've seen on Steven thus far.
Hmmm I did not know that fact🤔

He was also in that short lived NBC time travel show.
He'd totally pull off a Kiffar like Quinlan Vos
Favreau stated it based on the old tv western shows where the gunslinger travels from town to town having adventures which may or may not further the main storyline. It's like the Kung Fu tv show with David Carradine or even the Incredible Hulk with Bill Bixby. Their episodes didn't always progress their main storylines forward either.
9:12 Natalia Tena (Game Of Thrones) 🤫

Don't forget the Devorian is the Kurgan from Highlander, and Mr. Krabs!
And Mark Boone Jr. from Sons of Anarchy (only just found that out, having watched almost all of season 1 XD)
The droid voice is moz from IT crowd
If you watch any classic serial, there are self contained episodes that play into a larger over-arching story, with certain episodes being dedicated to the overarching story. Look at Firefly, first episode introduced the characters and an over-arching story, then for the majority of the season it was self-contained episodes and it gradually moved into the grand scheme.
Yep, that’s the same formula Cowboy Bebop had as well. All of these space westerns seem to follow the classical serial style of storytelling and it makes each of their universes feel so much bigger because of it.
@@MrJH101 people were conditioned into binging and then Game of Thrones, and with very few exceptions (Breaking Bad, Dark) it always ends up getting worse and worse beyond the halfway point.
Now their minds cannot wrap around episodic content again. Everything must be binged.
Same with Babylon 5, where a LOT of episodes in S1 and S2 looked fully self contained and then in S4... "Oh wait!"
Fringe as well. Many self contained moster of the week.
Farscape, dudes, Farscape.
In his own way papa Mando(😍) is getting more affectionate towards baby yoda. Becoming more like a dad each episode
I love the fact that so many women love this series :)
@@sebastiankrajewski2029 I'm not even a fan of SW & I'm falling for mando/baby yoda. Maybe it's my things with helmets & masks. Maybe it's cause he's a "dad" or the really good writing on this show
@@TheEmodarkangel19 Interesting answer :) Anyway I am still happy for you that you like it :)
I try
Agreed. It’s adorable.
Nikki's panic when Baby Yoda is at the slightest of risk is perfectly offset by Steven's constant smiling simply amuses me.
Well Luke called them "Sand People" so I'm guessing Uncle Larrs wasn't one to teach him to talk to them.
It's also made clear in the prequels that there are multiple tribes of Sand People, even though you can easily infer that from the OT, it would make sense that each tribe has a different level of aggression or general policy towards outsiders.
Joe Moisture Farmer sees the Sand People, he freaks out and starts shooting. 🙄
Found Nikki and Steve last week, through some other big Mandalorian react video with multiple other channels combined, but they stuck out to me because their reactions were the best to watch and also seemed like a cute couple that would be fun to hang out with in real life. You got my subscribe!
It is very simple, the first season is all about introductions. They have these singular stories to just introduce a lot of character we are going to see throughout the show. I personally love that we finally have a show that is not about some convoluted story that more than often end up a disappointment. Game of Thrones is a great example of this.
I have missed shows like Star Trek, Firefly and Stargate where you could just sit down an watch an episode and you are served a story with a beginning and an end. Compared to many shows I rarely rewatch them because I would have to watch the entire thing because it is a long overarching story. But sometimes if I feel like watching Stargate or Firefly I can just pick an episode and enjoy it.
And now I can do that with a Star Wars show, which I think is awesome.
I think people are way too obsessed with baby Yoda, this is not a show about him, it is about The Mandalorian. Think of it like Star Wars lone wolf and cub, and you just see their adventures throughout the galaxy.
It is a story of his journey and where it takes him! Enough said!
I'm starting to wonder if they're doing a variation on Blake's 7, where instead of building the main cast gradually over the course of the early episodes, this series is building its villains.
Should've end it with "I have spoken."
Unfortunately that’s not what episodes 1-3 told us. They set a much larger foundation than that.
@@NikkiStevenReact It is coming. Keep up the grat work!
@@anthonymoreno3682 Ugh so true!

Canto shite. Useless last jedi plot.
Save the Space Horses! Screw freeing those slave children though.
That part took me out too
The 2nd half of the ep reminded me of Batman. Especially when Mando was hunting the crew.

The droid pilot sounds like Moss (Richard Ayoade) from the IT Crowd.
@@DavidSmith-pg1ob It is.
Great job identifying the actors. Also, the Droid (Zero) was voiced by Richard Ayoade from the IT Crowd. And the guy who gave him the job is from Sons of Anarchy. Lots of guest stars in this one.
If they want to make each episode a stand-alone story I'm fine with that.
I like it too, but you can still have stand-alone stories in 2-3 episodes arcs
Ki-Adi Mundi they did that with the first three, it’s fine.
Same here
They're going for a more serialized western. Though The last 2 episodes will most likely go back to the main story.
I see why one would think the last 3 episodes are stand alone or “filler” but I see them as all connected. The entire season is a story. Episode 1 is the setup. We are introduced to Mando and what his life is like. Then he accepts the job that’s going to get him the steel to upgrade his armor. Then he meets baby yoda. That’s what’s called the inciting incident in storytelling. The next 2 episodes is Mando dealing with this new situation and having to make a decision....does he turn in baby yoda and go back to his regular life or does he save the child and accept this new direction? Episode 4 is all about him looking for a place to hide out for a while to figure out what he’s going to do next. Episode 5 and 6 is Mando trying to get jobs outside of the guild. He still needs money to survive. He meets new people and old acquaintances along the way. He faces obstacles. Wins some, loses some but mostly we learn that his situation isn’t going to improve unless he does something to change it. That’s when the final episodes come in. These are what’s called the final push, major setback, and climax of the story.
I’d be willing to bet that several of the characters we’ve met this season will show up again at some point. It’s great world building. Each episode fleshes out Mando more and more. We’ve seen how he deals with new planets, species, situations, etc. he’s not just a cool looking character with great armor and weapons. He’s a 3 dimensional, living, breathing, caring person underneath that helmet.
Personally wish the creative minds behind this show had been in charge of the sequel trilogy.
Prediction: Baby Yoda’s first word will come at the end of episode 8. And it will be “Mando.”
Loved loved loved this episode!
First, you TWO ARE ADORABLE! I love ya! Two story lines are going here. First, the child's mystery line. Its unknown and he picked it up. He has no more idea than we do what the deal is for the baby. The second story line is him going through his life. Its like a documentary following someone through his life. This is cinema verity. There isn't a deeper story. He's just living his life with a mystery. Anyone else who wants more doesn't get writing. I am thinking that Boba Fett was the guy. It would be the best cliff hanger of all time. LOVE YA1
Luke stayed out of the desert until he had to go there. He had no reason to know. Mando goes there because the bad guys tend to go out there. He needs to know.
I was super tensed throughout the whole episode too! Panicking about baby yoda the whole time.
The actress playing Xi'an is Natalia Tena, aka Tonks from Harry Potter, aka Osha from GOT.
Also from an episode of Black Mirror.
That's tonks ?!
@@garys261 Yep!
Luke’s Uncle’s farm was invading their territory so they would attack on sight while someone clearly traveling might just need permission.
That was Dave Filoni! The other 2 were Rick Famuyiwa (Director of this Episode & Episode 2) and Deborah Chow (Director of Episode 3 and the next Episode).
It seems like the showrunners are setting the stage for Mando to lose Baby Yoda and get captured, which would establish a season 2 plotline in which Mando has to escape and find the little homie. In Chapter 4 he wasn't close to being captured, but that other bounty hunter almost sniped him and Baby Yoda. In Chapter 5, he came close to being sniped, and the jackass he met in the Cantina was on the verge of fleeing with the kid. In this Chapter, he came damn close to losing Baby Yoda and getting trapped in jail. They're building up to something big. And I'd guess the mystery guy from Chapter 5 will be involved. Or I could be 100% wrong.
I love the pace and how every episode is a small adventure where you can't expect anything because it's always new but I also agree with you Steven. Ep 1 to 3 showed us a much bigger picture than that and I really wanna know more before this season ends. I'm expecting the *Wait and see in season 2* kinda cliff hanger at the end tho..
It's kind of the Dave Filoni type story telling though. He did that with Rebels also. Use the first couple eps of a season and the season finale (in a longer season also mid-season finale) to explore the bigger picture and keep the rest of the season individual adventures.
This really is more a live-action version of the animated shows he used to make. But his shows also developed and did more and more bigger story arcs from season to season. So we'll see
The Nikki and Steven connection overshadows the Mando and Baby Yoda chemistry!
You two are always my favourite reaction to the Mando. Steven, you are so pragmatic and Nikkis the ultimate mom looking out for B-Yodes, perfect combo!
Episode 6 was "Hey, it's that guy!" the episode.
Mark Boone Jr (Gordon's corrupt partner in Batman Begins) was Ran.
Bill Burr is Bill Burr.
Clancy Brown (the Kurgan in Highlander, numerous voice acting jobs) was Burr. But not Bill.
Natalia Tena (Osha on GoT, Tonks in Harry Potter) was Xi'an.
Richard Ayoade (a surrealist British comedian who turns up on numerous panel shows) was Zero.
Matt Lanter (the voice of Anakin in the Clone Wars TV series) was Davan.
And as Steve noted, Dave Filoni was one of the X-wing pilots--and the other two were Rick Famuyiwa (who directed episode 2 and 6 of the Mandalorian, and was one of the writers on 6), and Debra Chow (who directed episode 4 and will be directing the Obi-Wan series).
Also, while he's not much of a "Hey, it's that guy!" guy unless you were born in like 2005, Ismael Cruz Cordova (who plays Qin) was on Sesame Street for a few years *playing a character named Mando*.
"Richard Ayoade (a surrealist British comedian who turns up on numerous panel shows) was Zero."
I think you mean "Maurice Moss from the IT Crowd".
The Droid is Moss from "IT Crowd"!
Clancy Brown from "Highlander"!!!! (The guy with the horns who lifted the door that fell on him, best known for his role as the Kurgan in HL, the murderous prison captain in "The Shawshank Redemption", and the voice of Mr. Crab on "SpongeBob Squarepants" as well as numerous other roles) I know that evil laugh ANYWHERE!!
The three x-wing pilots were the directors of The Mandalorian!
You can still hear the Kurgan when Burg is laughing. Good ol' Clancy Brown!
Deborah Chow, the director of Chapter 3, was in one of the X-Wings too. She directed Chapter 7 as well so hopefully the next one will be fun to watch
PS Entertainment Tonight and Variety have videos of the show with the characters. The baby isn't a puppet. Its an animatronic robotic figure who has to be managed by two people. Almost zero cgi. He's really interacting with the baby. :D:D:D
I love the cameos in this series. Nick Bill Burr, Ming Na Wen, Richard Ayoade. They even brought Matt Lanter back in this episode. I adore his Anakin in the Clone Wars. This show is so good
Okay, now I have stuck in my head a runner looking to the dugout for signs and it's a Tusken Raider giving them. Of course, it gets even better when the runner makes it home and the raider pumps his gaffi stick over his head making that triumphant sound URoRRuR'R'R!
So you've told me before that you already watched Star Wars Rebels and you said that the only reason you didn't watch Star Wars The Clone Wars was because watching over 100 episodes would take a long time. That is true but trust me, The Clone Wars CG animated series is worth it. It gives you more on the Mandalorian politics and so much more. The series has many different arcs and all are very engaging. Maybe you can just watch it on your own time without recording and uploading your reactions.
At this point it’s really about finding the time to watch. I really want to but I just can’t find the time.
Nikki & Steven React you should watch it dude ,its awesome i think after mandalorian you can start it
I had the same reaction as Nikki while watching this episode. I kept saying "I dont like this. I hates these guys."
I was stressed out during this episode lol!
I yelled at the screen "DON'T YOU TOUCH THAT BABY!"
The Story is that of the Journey of Baby Yoda and The Mandalorian.
That’s not what episodes 1-3 told us. They build a foundation for something much bigger
The citizens of Tatooine may be prejudiced against the sand people kinda like how we treated Native Americans or how white Australians treated the aborigines thru their early histories. Plus Luke probably heard stories that the sand people were monsters because of they did to his grandmother from his aunt and uncle so he wouldn't try to communicate with them. Also, the tusken raiders are people too, just saying.
Exactly! I was thinking this! The real world analogy is definitely there and just calling them "sand people" and designating them as evil with no exception is 😬😭.
I totally agree about the Boba Fett thing, I think he was made to be an antagonist, and I know that the creators of both the originals and the mandalorian knew that they could use voices to portray their characters. Boba has more of an antagonist-like voice and Mando has a pretty chill sounding voice so you know who is a protagonist and who is an antagonist
I think part of the problem with 'filler' episodes, is that we know there only are 8 episodes in the season. With only 8 episodes we expect more progress on the main story.
Disclaimer: That doesn't change that it was a great episode.
True .... episodes 5 and 6 just dragged . Which would be fine if the season was longer but with 8 episodes that are pretty short in the first place I would of liked for them to have more substance.
The Republic prison guard is the voice actor of Anakin in the SW:The Clone Wars!
I'm enjoying how they're showing his other contacts and previous people he COULD have had help from turned on him also. so much fun to see the deep crap he's in. I love this show!
Oh and I love how season 1 and 2 had a sons of anarchy cast member in it. I hope they keep it going! oh and fun fact, the X wing that Dave was in, that is the one that you can see at Disney Hollywood Studios here in Orlando. and if you didn't figure out the female, she was Tonks in Harry Potter also the officer that they killed is Matt Latner, who voiced Anakin in clone wars. Really cool guy in person!
Deborah Chow was also one of the x-wing pilots. She'll be doing the Obi Wan series.
I did not realise when I first watched this episode that the red guy with horns is Clancy Brown a.k.a. The Kurgen from Highlander. And the Twi'lek girl is Natalia Tena who played the wildling Osha (who helps Bran) in Game of Thrones, and Nymphadora Tonks off of Harry Potter.
And the guy who played the droid is Richard Ayoade off of The IT Crowd.
I was just talking to a buddy at work about this very episode and pointed out an awesome fact that I overlooked. When Steven said they introduced a bunch of characters without killing them off. That's mostly true... Mando did put a hole through Zero's head because of his hate for droids. Which I thought was an awesome insight to Mando's character. He'll go through extreme lengths to prevent human deaths, but f' them droids.
Lady in X wing was Deborah Chow who directed episode 3 :)
Bill was also in Sons of Anarchy he played Bobby. This was an awesome episode and side note Nikki so glad your back and feeling better.
Such a cool gang that. Bill Burr, Natalia Tena, Clancy Brown and Richard Ayoade. So many good cameos.
Nikki called what they were going to do to Mando as soon as they dropped down into the prison ship. Props

“Ooooooo this is bad isn’t it” 😂😂😂
If y'all don't know.....Boba is probably not in the pit. In one of the Aftermath books (canon) a set of partially melted/digested Mando armor was found in a Jawa sandcrawler around the wreckage of Jabbas barge.
its lovely how nikki just stares at you while your talking, you got a good one buddy
Two things I like in this episode: 1. Everyone surprised that fire doesn't hurt a Devoranian. And 2: You can see the Devoranian's horns are broken off at the end after Mando slammed the blast doors shut on him.
The Twi'lek girl is Osha the wildling from Game of Thrones. Well, same actress. The big Devaronian is the drill sergeant from Starship Troopers. EDIT yes the actor's name is Clancy Brown and he's also Mr. Krab's voice and the Kurgan in the first Highlander movie.
You two are amazing. Forsure my favorite react channel!
Great reaction guys! That was definitely a fav episode! I’m loving the chapters. It’s likes the serials back in the day!
Luke not knowing the Tuscans shows how sheltered he was
Guys I don’t know what it is, but you guys are looking REALLY GOOD IN THIS VIDEO. Gorgeous couple alert!!
Also I really loved your discussion in the beginning. I think your points are valid with the story, especially since the first three episodes set up the main arc. It def would be cool to see more “little nuggets” of the main storyline in the different episodes. love the enthusiasm!!
fun episode. the 3 pilots in the xwings are the 3 directors so far on the show, pretty cool lol. When mando got out, it was like a horror movie for the other guys and mando on the hunt. the part with baby yoda i wonder if he is still force sensitive after episode 3 with what that doctor did to him. I too hope its not fett and its the guy from breaking bad from the trailers.
All 3 of the x-wing pilots were directors. Filoni, chow, and the director of this episode.
Summing up:
Ran is Mark Boone Jr, aka Bobby "Elvis" Munsen from Sons of Anarchy
Xi'an was Natalia Tena, aka Osha from GoT, and Tonks from Harry Potter
Devaronian is Clancy Brown, aka Kurgan from Highlander, sgt. Zim from Starship Troopers, guard in Shawshank Redemption, and more.
The X-wing pilots were all directors - Dave Filoni, Rick Famuyiwa, and Deborah Chow.
Republic guard voiced Anakin in the Clone Wars. Voice for the droid was a british comedian from the IT Crowd.
Stellar cast for this episode.
You called that one part "horror flick" -- I called it the "Batman scene".
Finally! Waited for you guy's reaction.
Me too! Lol i was checking all day to see if they posted it 😂
The guy in the control room is Matt Lanter. The voice of Anakin in The Clone Wars
Also the female pilot at the end was Deborah Chow, director of two Mandalorian episodes this season
There wasn't really ever an initial storyline to abandon. The first two episodes weren't setting up any particular storyline with baby Yoda. They were just introducing the character. I've recently seen it compared a lot to shows from the 90's like Hercules and Xena. In Hercules his main goal was to kill Hera. But every episode was a sort of adventure of the week style story. That's what they're doing with The Mandalorian. It's not meant to be like Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, etc. The main goal is to find somewhere safe for baby Yoda, but that might not happen until the end of the series.
Did you not watch episodes 1-3? A member of the former empire and a doctor from Kamino interested in a baby Yoda creature who can use the force. Those first 3 episodes built the foundation for something huge. If there are expectations set and we’re not the only ones who feel this way, it’s because the show created them. The tone and style of the show totally shifted from 4 on
I love all your reaction video so much I watch them before the real series episodes. Love you guys so much 😍🥰
It was a great episode, the new characters/cast was awesome. I’m pretty sure we’ll see that crew again.🤞
xi'an the twi'lek was the wildling in GoT
She was also Tonks in Harry Potter
Remember this for the future: Sometimes an episode isn't import because of what happens right now, but because of what it is setting up in another episode.
The 3 x-wing pilots are all directors from this season.
Not all, Bryce Dallas Howard and Taika Waititi directed too.
@@Mach1Greeble I said all the pilots were directers, not all directors were pilots. 🙄
I agree with you Steven, I want NEW. I don’t want Boba Fett involved.
Amen....same here
One thing you must understand about the Tuscan Raiders is in a book Luke dressed up and actually traveled with them for a while.
what book did that happen in?
I love this show. Also, will you guys be reacting to The Witcher tv show?
Not anytime soon we won’t be
@@NikkiStevenReact please reconsider this decision :-)
@@NikkiStevenReact ah ok =(
Thanks for the reply, though guys.
Nikki & Steven React The Witcher is gonna be a big one! Like possibly GoT rivalling.
Yes yes yes! The Witcher is gonna be AMAZING! Finally, a successor for GOT! You guys will love it!
To be fair, Luke didn't exactly have a lot of time to communicate with the sand people since they pretty much KO'd him on sight. It's possible that the mandalorians didn't share the communication capabilities with non-mandalorians. From what I've seen across the movies, animated series, and videogames containing moments with sand people, they aren't completely feral and uncivilized. They have their own kind of civilization complete with a chieftain (or at least they did during the era of the old republic). Also, Xi-an was played by Natalia Pena who played Tonks in the Harry Potter movies.
Who are these two people? Ohhh I recognize them now. Welcome back and glad you are feeling better Nikki.
Dave Filoni didn't just do Rebels, he did The Clone Wars before it, which you definitely should watch. For an animated series, it's shockingly good. Fills in a ton of backstory, and fixes a lot of the problems with the prequel movies' portrayal of Anakin. (For example, when Obi-Wan tells look "he was the best star pilot in the galaxy, and a cunning warrior, and he was a good friend"... well, in the prequels we didn't really get much of that, we just got "It's all Obi-Wan's fault, he's holding me back" and such like stuff. But TCW gave us the Anakin that old Ben described to Luke, and in spades.
Cliffhangers are designed to tease, they are a vehicle to get you excited for the next episode or season. All shows do this, and if it's done well it could be epic.
The reason Xi'an sounds familiar is because she's played by Natalia Tena, who played Nymphadora Tonks in Harry Potter!
Xi'an IS Osha from Game of Thrones. I got pretty excited when I realised xD
The Mandalorian is a throwback of episodic TV shows. Not every episode is a continuation of the previous episode. As most know and have said the show is a Star Wars western show. GoT, Vikings, Mad Men, etc.... those are heavily serialized shows that start to finish has a constructed storytelling.
The Mandalorian is more like a standard TV show. I’d assume those same TV shows that Favre & Filoni grew up watching.
I wonder if Boba Fett was to show up, they could have some kind of storyline where Mando wants to know how a non mandolorian has a suit of armour and is pissed about it.
I might've overthought this
I just started watching this show last night, got all caught up & saw you 2 were reacting to it so I just had to see Nikki's reaction to "Baby Yoda" & sure enough it's what I expected!! He's sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo Adorable!!
