I’d prob do poison priority over hawk eye and instead of more ammo captivity I’d opt in for faster reload speed mods. I think you’d get more dps but haven’t tested it myself yet . Just got mine today

Highest in game listed DPS Python build I've seen. Most run from 200-220k when maxed out that I've found when looking (and I've looked all over the place as I like to compile data). Even found a new one today on reddit that had 235,977, but that's not yet as high as your 259,734. I know the DPS numbers listed there are a bit of a lie, since the game doesn't calculate it all correctly and leaves out some parts, but I get lazy and don't always want to do the math myself... Very nice build. I will say that while I like everything in the build and will use it myself for the most part, I feel like Real-Life Fighter is situational. Since some Colossi move around a lot and have smaller weakpoints. As well as it just not helping when mobbing (not that it's needed, you'll shred them fast enough anyway...). With that being said, for normal use in the world and those Colossi that move about with small weakpoints, I would use Firing Fiesta. The 3s of free ammo before using your clip is insanely good. Especially with 1200+ RPM. It also doesn't drop stacks like Real-Life Fighter on every bullet that misses a weak point. Which will pretty much be all stacks in an instant when you do stray off it, since it is firing so fast. So that would be my only change. Just making two pages, same build on both, but one with Firing Fiesta and one with Real-Life Figher for when weak points can really be taken advantage of. Though those 3s of free bullets is sooooo much that I wonder if in the end, it is just better than Real-Life Figher anyway. Would have to do the math though to figure that out..... Or maybe you can do a showcase and see which can make kills faster on each of the Colossi?
Very true there are definitely better mods that will play better for general use. The gun is very misleading when you only look at the sheet dps. I simply built this version of the gun for hammering down on weak points whenever possible for the max amount of burst damage. I'm glad you liked the build!
@@Xiphos7s Completely understandable. Python was made for boss killing more than mobbing in the first place and many descendants have other preferred options when mobbing. Such as Freyna wanting Fallen Hope and Valby with a Thunder Cage for mobbing each will do wonders more than a Python. But of course Python is by far Freyna and Valby's best Bossing weapon, along with an Infinite Massacre Gley (sadly the ability of Ultimates doesn't work during Massacre, but Python still tops because of Ult Reactor use and highest Fire Rate of Ult Weapons despite that). The reason more though that Freyna and Valby do so well with the Python is not actually the weapon's DPS (though that really helps), but the ability of the weapon. By keeping the debuffs on the bosses, it amps the DPS of their DoT's to crazy levels (of which they already are amazing). I think everyone should at minimum raise a Thunder Cage and a Python. As any character can use them and they are amazing both for Mobbing and Bossing respectively. Thus allowing easy building of one's characters while still contributing greatly to fights.
I'll be working on the build video for Jayber soon! This game just has me so busy grinding things. The Jayber build is pretty much as maxed as it needs to be for all content with multiple versions.
I have plans on making other videos for both weapons and Descendants. Just been busy farming stuff and making sure they are fully maxed before making videos.
I built this version of the build to get the most damage possible when smashing on weak points. You can use Toxic Conductor for the sustained 26% increase to firearm ATK but when you can land full magazines on weak points the Real-Life Fighter mod will provide way more dps. Both mods are definitely a great option. Toxic Conductor would also be a lot easier to have 100% uptime if you're playing Freyna.
@@Wildghost2206 Obstructer/frost walker/Molten all require a team, so it’s easier to show case on solo bosses, the argument would be why not do it on swamp walker instead but the toxic resistance is 400 of difference. And the frost walker is 400 more than swamp but that’s for chill meaning the frost walker might have about the same toxic resistance as the swamp or even less making it good for walker. Testing it on obstructer might be better? But since you need at least 3 ppl it might not be the most effective test
I would not use that mod due to its -6% fire rate but it's worth giving it a shot and testing it to see if maybe the pros will outweigh the cons. This build in the video is just what I found to be a very viable setup for hitting weak points to shred the bosses.
Imo python isnt that great on console. If you dont land 75% of your shots as weakpoints you dont get that much value from it. Pair that with the +20% recoil from action reaction and how you’re fighting the aim assist to stay on weakpoints…. Maybe its just a skill issue tho

Plenty of other viable options for this weapon. I tested most things. I just chose a little more quality of life in this build.

This weapon still being good if the boss is resistant to poison? Like frost walker
He showed it on devourer which has high toxic resistance
But is the easiest boss, everyone always shows it in devouer
