Bishopbriggs Poltergeist HD

Some handheld footage I shot back in May around where I grew up in Bishopbriggs, East Dunbartonshire a suburb of Glasgow in central Scotland. In editing it I thought it might match quite well with the opening titles of Poltergeist which just so happens to be one of my favourite movies. I always found the way the Campsie Fells overlook the town in the background to be similar to the aesthetic that the Agoura Hills had to Cuesta Verde in the opening sequence of that movie.
Reminds me of the long summer days of my youth and how ultimately outside of the trees being a lot taller things haven't really changed all that much.
I could really have done with a tripod for some of these shots especially the opening tracking one which is a bit crap to say the least but it was all rather off the cuff stuff.
This was originally shot in 4K but that takes about two weeks to upload to youtube so HD will have to suffice.

Where’s the Poltergeist? Was half expecting to get Rick rolled at the end of this. Yea yeah it’s Bishopdriggs not far from Easterhouse.
