Its great to see the slow progression that has taken place when HL cared more about his image in S1 to how he is in S3.
He's like a tiking time bomb. The more we see of him the closer he gets to snapping. It's only going to get worse in season 4

I love how much it’s similar to politics in the US today. HL would be the right who knows their leader is obviously different and more privileged but he can grasp their attention by saying he’s one of “them” which resonates with the common folk abiding by faith and tradition and then the left follow StarLight thinking they’re the saviors/peacekeepers without realizing their representation is just as corrupt without being as radical and abrasive with the message.
Dont think its fair to say homelander is a lucky guy with a lot to his name. At the end of the day he was raised in a lab to be used as a product. No family, no social skills, no REAL freedom of choice. That's why the boys is good, the antagonists aren't just villains they are genuinely fucked up people who in a different environment probably could have been mostly decent. Also idk why youre saying one side is more radical than the other. From an outside viewpoint with no pull to either side they are equally insane. Really the whole two party system was goofy in the first place. Just causes extreme division and different views for the sake of different views.
