I plan to get a Tour. I find the Cross bikes are among the best, easy maneuvering, comfortable seat off the line, only need to change the handlebar, the stock isn't comfortable for my wrists.
Just came across. For the first time. Two videos in And I love your content.. Born in Jeffersonville, 1967, move to Daytona Beach in 85. Bout a 2016 magnum with only 82 miles on it in dec.2022. I love it 5000 on it now. It has been flawless. Keep up the good work.
Thats my favorite bike ever. I plan to get one some day. Indian is just a spinoff of victory honestly. But the cross country is a must have for me some day.
@@evelkestriegel I’ll probably ride Big Red for another 4-5 years. I expect she’ll have 160k by then. Im starting to eyeball the Indian Pursuit pretty hard though!
just bought my second, a '14 XC in Titanium suede... love it, all the Lloyds goodies on board and looking at the 26 inch wheel kit.... started out on a '12 Highball, sold it to my son.... we ride as often as we can. V 4 D Win!
Glad you like it ! 90k on my 2013. Glad polaris kept the platform with the Challenger/ Persuit. Hoping they’ll make a batwing version with Victory-esque bags. Indian “Victor” anybody? Nice vid.🍻
I love the CCT after riding a CC a few years ago, had come from a Honda VT750 and it only took like 5 minutes to get the feel for the weight and power. I am seriously thinking of replacing my GL1500 with a CCT. The bags are masssive, only the Yamaha Star Venture comes close there and I use my bike for everything so I love having massive storage, ABS standard, a topcase that is easily removed and a taller windshield. Gunny Ermey rode a CC, that's the only endorsement I need
I am thinking about buying on but wind buffeting is my biggest concern. I've real that its a serious problem on the Cross Country. Ive got a Jackpot now and love it. Would love another Vic in my garage
Go for an Indian chieftain with the power windscreen or an aftermarket taller windscreen for the cross country would be a cheap fix. The cross country is an awesome bike.
I have this same Havasu Red Cross Country with oem 11 inch screen, but there are several aftermarket mfgs also. Adjustabel Madstad windshields may be the best. For me and may others, I put on the Witchdoctors wind fork lowers which are metal (can paint them to match or whatever you want). Buffeting problem was gone. Except for the summer months I also put chaps on the engine guards and it even help more. Im also 6 foot . By the way it is a great bike, probably a sport type bagger, not top heavy. Find one with cams, Lloyds air filter and a Maximus ECU tune,, or by one and get this done like I did and you will have 115 hp and 115 torque. Very reliable bikes, just normal maint. This gentleman reviewer is correct, it is a fun bike to ride. By the way, the bags hold the most in the bagger market.
The stereo was pretty good from what I remember, if you want the best stick stereo though you HAVE to hear the Powerband Audio package on the big Indian Motorcycles. Nothing compares unless you go aftermarket.
It was to reliable. Easy service oil brakes etc. Ride till wheels fall off . Vision owners fear panel damage. Indian is adding vic touches to their new line
i agree the Victory was a great brand, i owned 3 of them, 2007 Jackpot, 2015 CCT and 2016 Magnum. The Victory's have been sold in early 2021, got fed up hunting for parts and aftermarket. Went back to Harley and i have to say i love the availability of parts, if i can want it, there is a part for it.
If you have to ask if the cross country or victory in general is still relevant...just go buy something else. I dont own three of them because of "relevance"
I bought a 2016 XC earlier this year and I love it. My favorite cruiser that I’ve ever owned. It’s a damn shame Victory isn’t around anymore.

And yet everyone knew the branch Indian and nobody knew victory lol which is why they were shut down.
Just because weebs, fall for the tshirt sals schtick doesn’t change reality. Victory > Indian
I'm going for the Tour. The top case is easy to remove and I'd like to have it for long trips.
I've got a 115k miles on the 2012 victory cross country tour that I bought new. Still love this bike!!!
That's badass! What a testament! Indian Chieftain next?

They definitely need Victory-esque bags!!
Bothers me a lot that 2017 is only 5 years away. I can’t believe I’ve had my XCT for 9 years now. Best bike I’ve ever ridden.

@evelkestriegel Thanks for the suggestion. I'm absolutley in love with my Vegas Jackpot, so I'm leaning heavily towards another Victory. Thanks again

How is the stereo? I know nothing really close to harley stereo but is it decent to work with?
The stereo was pretty good from what I remember, if you want the best stick stereo though you HAVE to hear the Powerband Audio package on the big Indian Motorcycles. Nothing compares unless you go aftermarket.
Victory was definitely doing it right.
It's a great bike for sure! I think you'd be happy with the new liquid cooled Indians though. You can feel the Victory influence there

Love these bikes
Me too! This bike for sure change my mind a lot! Thanks for watching!
Just subbed up because I still love the cross country one of my favorite handling big twin bagger
Thanks for the sub!
64K on my XCT, still a great bike… and hell of a value.
Tbis bike is like a hot rod when yiu passed the hot rods on the freeway it's very custom looking type of bike.
What bars are these?
It's been awhile since we had that bike but I believe they were kst 10" apes
Why a Vic sign , in Bensalem pa Indian will not work on a Vic ?
That's odd, Indian of Clarksville was a victory dealer and we still work on victorys as victory made a promise to offer OEM parts until 2027
@@evelkestriegel our local Indian Boutique say Polaris said so? Now it is strange. Oh well can't force them .
My Indian dealer in KY works on vics,,, they did a couple things to my vision.
