I am really liking these more versatile guitars these days with the combination single coil and humbuckers. Then they go with a Telecast body style, really sort of tying it all together.
Seems like a great guitar. Bridge pickup sounds particularly sweet. I'd like to see Schecter do a guitar that uses their 'Dark Side' single coil pickups that isn't one of their ~£5k custom shop models as those pickups sound amazing to me in any of the demos I've watched. Would also be cool to see Schecter do a slightly more upmarket HSS or HS model to compete with stuff like the Ibanez AZ at a lower price point. Of course they have their new California Custom that is made in Japan and a direct competitor to the AZs but it would be cool to see them do something around £1200 with a non-locking trem, stainless steel frets, fancy veneer finishes and even more pickup switching options. I actually got an AZ 7 string from PMT and whilst its buttery smooth to bend on the stainless steel frets, overall it doesn't have the tight feel and resonance of my Schecter Reaper that is like 1/3 of the price. Just shows how great Schecter performance is for the money. Thinking of swapping my AZ for a Schecter KM-7 and then getting a modern-traditional HSS 6 string later so I don't miss the trem and single coil sounds from the AZ. I think this Van Nuys is right at the top of the list for that (in the natural finish I though!). The MV-6 also looks cool with its unique pickup setup. Keep demoing the Schecters, I love to hear how they all sound!
Man, appart from tge increduboe looks, that creammy sound is incredible, that sounds like your using that pedal that is called, cake or chocolate cake...!!
ya know what pisses me off? That this certifies how close they always are to make badass looking guitars, but most of the time ends up with super flashy finishes/inlays. I mean what's wrong with black guitars? They are simple, basic, very pro looking. And when black schecters happen...it's a limited model! This is just sad :(
awesome looking guitar, sounds incredible too, but Dagan makes every guitar sound great lol
Great guitars, i just bought a used Omen-6, white with black trim, it's just
Super Sharp ! Schecter definately takes great pride in their guitars.
Dagan really is quite the plucker! I'm totally sold on this model now ❤

Schecter wins!
My Schecter SLS Elite-5 bass is superb quality and budget priced. I have NO issues except there’s nothing to modify😃
Id like a new PT but cant find a schecter dealer in Australia. Is there one here?
Great playing

Hey Dagan, it's unlikely you'll respond to this, but I REALLY need you to review the Dan Armstrong Plexiglas, man! Keep up the great work!
meanwhile i'm eyeballing that lp with yellow binding 👀
That's the Jared James Nichols signature Epiphone 'Old Glory'! ⚡️🤘
Sucks that all they have in the USA is the natural version.
i agree!
