Your tutorial of the D 30 little printer was awesome the first one I came across there was no one talking it was just all video no sound I had to look at it like five times and I still didn’t get it yours was great thank you very much
Thanks for the review. I am having trouble aligning the tape so that I don't waste one of the labels when I click print. When I click on the button it aligns the tape but then it goes out too far. How do I align it so that I don't waste one sticker?
Thanks, I only had the one label but I tested it out and you are correct, you pretty much have to waste a sticker to align it. That said, one thing I was able to do was to align it and then tried to see where the label was in regards to the print head and then realigned the first sticker to that point. It wasn't easy as the label wants to move on you and I almost had it but I would probably waste more labels trying to eyeball it than pushing the button to align the first time. For me that isn't too bad since I only had the one label but I can see that being an issue if you switch labels frequently. Per the instructions it seems like wasting a label is the only option. Too bad I didn't catch that in the review as that is a con for sure.
Oh no, sorry to hear that. Since it doesn't use ink but rather heat to print, it may be that the unit is defective. If you just recently got it I would suggest returning it for a replacement. Good luck!
The standard labels that it comes with are considered 1/2 inch by 1 1/2. They also offer a round label that is 1/2 x 1. Not sure if that would work for what you are needing but they do offer a variety of sizes.
Thanks for the tip I thought that there was only one but I did a search and do see an app called Phomemo, however the one that I use is Print Master which does work. It is confusing because they use the same mushroom style for the logo.
@@RandomDistractionsYT hey! Thanks for such a swift response :). I plugged in but I don’t see any light or indicator that it’s charging. And even after tried charging for 10-20 mins still doesn’t turn on sadly.
Centering the label it does it automatically when you press the power button once after turning it on. If you mean centering the text, you just have to make sure that you pick the correct label size that you are using so that it centers correctly. Also make sure that you select the text and choose centering the text.
Only to charge it, there isn't any communication that happens between the printer and a computer. I tested it on my laptop to confirm and all it does is starts to charge. At least for this printer the Phomemo D30. They may have others that can work with computers.
I'm not sure I understand, the labels are supposed to be blank so that you can print what you need. Are you saying that your printer didn't print on the labels?
I checked and using my iPhone I added a Chinese keyboard and was able to type the characters on the label so as long as you can change your keyboard then yes it looks like you have other language options.
Was really surprised by how much you can do with the labels but for now the Lite Mode will do.
Just ordered this label printer, and found this tutorial more useful than most for the same printer
Thanks for checking out the video and glad it was helpful!

the down side of this printer is that it wont print white text. so im returning mine just prints black all the time.
That would be awesome if it could do that, I wonder if you could upload a picture that was all black with white text to get around that.
Mines not printing black it just prints empty what am i doing wrong???

@@RandomDistractionsYT i found out the problem. I put the paper in backwards thats why it didnt print!!
@bashiiraasad9330 Ah! Thanks for the update and will try to remember that in case anybody else mentions that. Glad it’s working now for you!
where to buy re fill fornthe sticker strips? or any kind will do? TIA!
I bought them from Amazon. Just look for Phomemo D30 labels. Not sure if other brands would work.
I need to make 1/2 inch labels. Will this work? If not, any recommendations for what I should get?

Make sure you download the right app. I thought mine was broken. 😬

@@RandomDistractionsYT Yup. I probably should have read the instructions. Hehe 🥺
Mine won’t turn on straight out of the box!! 🤦🏽♂️
@@Doloo1636 That's not good. Maybe the battery died, are you able to plug it in to charge? If not would probably return it to exchange it.

Unfortunately the only place I know to buy them is from Amazon.

I am assuming you can connect this to your laptop correct?

I bought one but the labels are blank

Are you able to print in other languages like Chinese, Japanese, Korean?

@@RandomDistractionsYT thank you
The battery was flat not chaasrgeable and the Bluetooth was not working
Oh no, hopefully, you were able to get it replaced.
