  • Randy Gordon, a self-described boxing lifer, has done it all in the sport. He began as a writer for G.C. London publishing, then became editor-in-chief of Ring magazine. From there, he was a boxing commentator on ESPN and MSG Network, among others. Gov. Mario Cuomo would tap him to become the New York State Boxing Commissioner before finally heading back into the media landscape. He co-hosts a boxing show on Sirius-XM wuth Gerry Cooney. And yes, he even laced them up had a brief boxing career. #boxing #randygordon

    I enjoyed the interview, Randy was a fantastic NYSAC Commissioner and it was an honor to be one of his referees.

    Thank you for this engaging interview with a true boxing maven Randy Gordon such an amazing story of how he became interested in boxing and forged his career in the sport. I would love to see his early ESPN Top Rank broadcasts where he forged his career as a color boxing analyst.
