I’ve watched COUNTLESS must have/ baby shower haul videos as a first time expecting mom, and this is the best, most informative one by far. Thank you for taking the time to record this. So glad I came across your channel 😊
A tip for white noise if you have an iPhone, (androids most likely have a similar feature) Go to accessibility….Audio/Visual….then go to the background sounds. From here, you can play sounds like rain, balanced noise, ocean noise, etc!! And the best part, it’s free☺️ 25:06
Can I just say I’m 17 weeks pregnant and have not read one book on what to expect except for the info on the what to expect app, and this video was soooo informative. I appreciate the time you took to make this video!
I agree on everything that you said. But for the diaper genie, I will recommend either a ubbi pail Which is nice because it's all metal and it supposedly locks the smell in, but keep in mind, you will not be able to do it. One-handed because you have to use both hands to open it or I. Also recommend a dekor pail Both of those allow you to use your own bags. And you don't have to use the brand name. Although diapergeny is really cool, there really is no difference in smell. Trust me, I've tried them all. I'm a mom and this is my seventh baby L
we did the same with the wipe warmer! We diodn't get it but were blessed with one from our neighbor. Before we got it we were warming the wipes in our armpits before using them. We live in a colder climate so he hated the cold wipes. Especially overnight!
Hahhaa armpits is funny. I used to ball it up in my hands but it didnt work well lol dont overstuff the warmer though. I learned the hard way and it just dried it out
Oh yay I was looking for more book recommendations so I might just get that one. I am reading one on labor and breast feeding right now and they are honestly so boring so need to switch it up
Regarding wipes, they aren't all the same. Pampers wipes are thin and cheap feeling. Feel like you can't get a good clean with just one. Don't like that they are so stretchy either. I'm about to try out the water wipes just because of the ingredients.
I've also registered with Amazon & I sent out my baby shower invites on Friday. I'm watching these types of videos to see if I missed anything. I looked for a doc-a-tot but they didn't have one on Amazon. You mentioned the infant lounger you found on Amazon & I looked but couldn't find anything but the covers for it. Could you put down what it was called so I can put it on my registry too? Thanks! I'm loving this video & definitely going to check out more of your videos! Sorry, I saw that you put it in the description! The one linked is no longer available but I looked at the ones that say "cover" & realized most come with the lounger & I've added it to my registry. Thanks again for the recommendation!!
Although informative, there are many videos that have the same information for a small fraction of the amount of time to get through this very long video. Also, the wet bag, yes, you can use it how she describes but it's primarily for cloth diapering. This mom seems very kind but I personally knew 97% of everything she discussed, just looking for opinions. This has to be one of the longest videos I've watched.
wipes matter sorry... that is like saying tissue doesn't matter.... spoiled because wipes are warm🥴‼️ you do not have to add stuff bcuz amazon said so...😂😂😂😂😂

Aww thank you for expressing this bc it made me so happy. Im glad it helped you out!! And congrats!
Same!! I’m 16 weeks and I like learning what I need and what I can do without.
I’m 29 weeks and haven’t read a single book either lol. I’ll learn on the go. Structured learning isn’t for me lol

Yes maam!!! Will be sharing the nursery soon but the hangers for bows are from ikea. I will link them in the next video
Try the evenflo balance bottles! Super great for babies that are also breast fed due to the shape and latch on the nipple of the bottle!
Oh nice! I heard Nuk is the same concept. Baby girl drinks out of 4 diff brands so I got lucky there
Oh yay I was looking for more book recommendations so I might just get that one. I am reading one on labor and breast feeding right now and they are honestly so boring so need to switch it up
This one is def a good one. Hes entertaining lol

Absolutely! Congrats on your pregnancy!
Omg I’m sitting here thinking I need to buy a scale I didn’t even think to weigh myself and then me with the baby! Good lord haha.
Yes girl!
You have to have one that weighs with Oz and lbs. It's mostly used for breastfeeding babies or babies whose weights are being watched medically.
@@katyerichardson426 thank you
@@katyerichardson426 ohhh that makes sense. Thank you
I hated luvs when I first tried them and still don’t like them after. I have no doubt I won’t use them with this one.
Yes girl! Im not the only one
Can you do a tour of the nursery
Sure! Coming soon

I appreciate the feedback. Just a lot to go through for those new to mommy life as myself. I was trying to go quickly, but be informative
You were great!
I don't agree with this commenter. This helps me a lot. I prefer anecdotes, and the pros/cons to items you went into, over brevity. Thank you.
@bitaterrell you really were great . And you're right, the information is helpful to new moms.
I call pacifiers “binks”
Lol ive heard binkyyy. Thats cute
