Jack O'Neill World Memorial Paddle Out

If the ultimate purpose of life is to love and be loved, then Jack succeeded immeasurably by building a family across the world that he loved and loved him back, across every ocean. From Santa Cruz to Sydney, thousands of surfers paid tribute to the life & adventures of the late Jack O’Neill with a giant “circle of love”. Across 4 continents and more than 9 countries, the symbolic memorial paddle outs spanned all corners of the globe from Santa Cruz, California to Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Netherlands, UK, and South Africa.
The movie tells memories about Jack from O'Neill teamriders Jordy Smith and Kevin Langeree, surfing legends and former O'Neill teamriders Shaun Tomson & Tom Carroll, O'Neill Sea Odyssey's Dan Haifley and other people that Jack inspired along the way.
Our friends in Japan are honoring Jack O'Neill with another paddle-out in Shonan today.
