- 弘前城は、青森県弘前市にある城。城跡は国の史跡に指定されています。
江戸時代には、弘前藩津軽家4万7千石の居城として津軽地方の中心的役割を果たしました。
江戸時代に建造された現存天守や櫓などが国の重要文化財に指定されています。
現在、弘前城は本丸石垣の修繕工事が行われています。
工事は天守の真下も行われるため、天守が移動させられています。
総重量約400トンの3層からなる天守が、約3か月かけて現在の場所へ移動。
天守が本来の場所へ戻るのは令和7年（2025年）の予定です。
城は本丸、二の丸、三の丸、四の丸、北の郭、西の郭の6郭から構成された梯郭式平山城です。
東西612メートル、南北947メートル、総面積38万5200平方メートルに及んでいます。
現在は、堀、石垣、土塁などがほぼ廃城時の原形をとどめ、8棟の建築物と天守が残っています。
ちなみに現存する天守は二代目であります。
寛永4年（1627年）に焼失した5重天守の代用として建てられました。
文化7年（1810年）に着工、1811年（文化8年）に竣工。
往時は幕府への配慮から天守とは見なさず、御三階櫓とされていました。
弘前城天守は、関東以東で唯一で最も北に位置する現存天守であります。
明治維新後、城跡は公園として整備され市民公園として一般公開されました。
明治36年（1903年）以降、桜の植樹が行われ、現在では約2,600本を数える桜の名所となっています。
桜の開花がゴールデンウィークと重なる弘前は、弘前さくらまつりに全国から多くの観光客が訪れています。

Hirosaki Castle is located in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture. The ruins of the castle are designated as a national historic site.
During the Edo period, it played a central role in the Tsugaru region as the residence of the Tsugaru clan of the Hirosaki domain (47,000 koku).
The existing castle tower and turrets built in the Edo period are designated as national important cultural properties.
Currently, Hirosaki Castle is undergoing repair work on the Honmaru stonewalls.
The castle tower was moved because the construction work was also carried out directly below the tower.
The three-story castle tower, which weighs approximately 400 tons in total, was moved to its current location over a period of approximately 3 months.
The castle tower is scheduled to return to its original location in 2025.
The castle is a lattice-style castle consisting of six sections: Honmaru, Ninomaru, Sanomaru, Shinomaru, Shinomaru, Kita-no-kaku, and Nishi-no-kaku.
It measured 612 meters from east to west and 947 meters from north to south, covering a total area of 385,200 square meters.
Today, the moat, stone walls, earthworks, etc. remain in almost their original form when the castle was abandoned and eight buildings and the castle tower remain.
Incidentally, the current castle tower is the second generation.
It was built in 1627 as a replacement for the five-story castle tower that was destroyed by fire.
Construction began in 1810 and was completed in 1811.
In the past, out of consideration for the shogunate, it was not considered a castle tower, but a third-story turret.
The Hirosaki Castle Tower is the only existing tower east of the Kanto region and the most northerly.
After the Meiji Restoration, the ruins of the castle were developed into a park and opened to the public as a civic park.
Since 1903, cherry trees have been planted, and the park is now a famous cherry blossom viewing spot with approximately 2,600 cherry trees.
The cherry blossom season coincides with the Golden Week holidays, and the Hirosaki Sakura Festival attracts tourists from all over Japan.

本来なら、桜が満開の風景をご紹介したかったところなのですが、
シーズン中はホテルの確保すら困難で諦めっぱなしでございます😢
いつかは、弘前さくらまつりに訪れたいと考えています🌸
桜の弘前城は稀なる美しさでしょう、でも無理難題おっしゃる通りホテル問題は厳しそうですね。早めにホテルが確保できなかった場合には、青森駅周辺にホテルをとって電車で弘前へ行くという手もありそうです。青森ベイブリッジやねぶたのワラッセ、海鮮市場など観光施設が駅周辺に密集してるという青森駅周辺は結構楽しめる場所のようですからその手もあるかと。@@channelwasabi
弘前は弘前城だけではなくて、こんなもんじゃないのだ。最勝院五重塔、誓願寺三門、初代津軽藩の生家がある初代のお膝元革秀寺、為信公の霊廟、仲町武家屋敷、弘前八幡宮、熊野奥照神社、弘前東照宮、藤田記念庭園、禅林街、長勝寺レンガ美術館、追手門広場、岩木山神社、新寺町寺院街、青森銀行記念館、キリスト教団弘前教会、カトリック弘前教会、百石町展示館、三上ビル、弘前偕行社、太宰治学びの家、弘前学院宣教師館、昇天教会、石橋家住宅、川崎藍染店、加藤商店、高照神社、まだありますがこれくらいにしておきます。
