- Assassin's Creed Origins Reload Solve Sun Dial Puzzle. Part of the gift from the gods quest where Bayek must solve the sun dial puzzle.
Note - if the pillars are shut despite in am, then reload the gift of gods quest from the quest screen.

@@jskilly7104 On the second time skip I saved game, closed game to windows. Once the game loaded the pillar cover slid down like the video. That was my first game, my second game I wasn't able to get it to move again with the method just I said. I hope I helped and if not Sorry.

Thanks buddy. I HATE looking online for puzzle answers. This puzzle was a tricky one because I thought it was all three stones I was suppose to strike. Nope! It was the one in front of us. Well there I have it. Badass armor and weapons by the way from whoever that legendary knight was.
Mannn am I glad to came across this side quest or whatever it is. Got a cool shield and a dope as sword 😁😁😁
Annoying when you want to solve a riddle without a guide but a bug prevents that. I meditated many times with no result, pillars didn´t open. Thanks to the tip about resetting the quest, finally it worked and i got the stuff.

You get a bad ass sword and shield ..nd a video of some final fantasy kinda lookin guy and a metal dragon appears ..its cool gonna explore the whote city .

@@the_ltz_guymaster7912 its definitely final fantasy. You get the "ultima blade" which is clouds best weapon in ff7. In the description it says "forged in insomnia" which is ff15, lol. You also get a chocobo mount. The dragon was Bahamut, and the red head dude was the final boss in ff15.

The sword and shield depend on your lvl. Try and not do this quest until your a high lvl.
You can upgrade it to your level at the black smiths

I was soooo confused as to the what, where, when and how of that cutscene hahaha. I'm glad the comments cleared it up for me, cause i never played final fantasy before. Thanks for the video though! Would have never guessed you had to fucking fire arrows at it🤦♀️
I was attacking the stones with fire therefore I thought I was hitting it. Apparently not. But hey they combined a chocobo and a camel 🐫 🥰😻 I always loved chocobos and camels are one of my favourite animals hands down. I only ever play FFX and X2 and a bit of seven. So I have no clue who the guy was. Maybe if you played that FF you would understand the puzzle. So I guess you would need to have a little background for this puzzle
For all of you who thinks it won’t work. You have to meditate. I had to meditate twice then it opened. On Xbox one you meditate by holding the view button. Not sure about PS4 or PC.

After trying multiple configurations I just randomly shot the left one twice and the middle one 3 times and it just opened. Used a light bow
I don't know how mine opened, maybe because I tried it once and couldn't get it to work so I didn't come back until I finished up that whole area a while later. When I came back they opened right up. I don't if it was time passed or right time of day. But I opened up the tutorial to figure it out and then didn't need it. Nice sword and shield though

Not how I opened it. I shot the left one 1x, 2nd 2x, then the middle one 1x. So not sure what the puzzle is other than meditating the shooting arrows.

I only had to shoot a few times my arrows. The pillow was already open without meditaiting! Xbox one

On playstation hit the middle button to mediate, incase you forgot, came back to finish the game after 3 yrs glad I did still at lvl 36 and plan on buying all the dlc to get to lvl 55 and cool ass prequel to show how the creed started!!

@@shakeboi hey David, I meant at 3pm. He can meditate if you press the touchpad and hold. But you have to acquire the ability to meditate. Go to settings in the game - abilities - and it’s one of them there. To let the time pass to change between day and night. Hope it helps

When u finish all toombs and collect all stones u will get it for free
Works 2021 buy the meditation ability perk.. and when you reach the stone ..just meditate and the blue gem will show and hit with the arrow... you’re done. A cool sword and a cool shield and a bazaar

Reload the game and make sure youre aiming at the middle one. Itll turn red when you aim if you're aiming at the right spot

@@ForestDogwoodworks Simply press and hold down the touchpad on your PS controller or the View button on an Xbox One controller to begin meditating. On PC, meditation is mapped to the M key by default. This will cause the sun to quickly shift across the sky, changing the time to roughly half a day ahead from when you began meditating.
If this doesnt work restart the objective. That is what i had to do, twice. Dont forget, when you get to the sun dial outside just wait for the center pillar to open. When it does only shoot the center pillar into the blue icon 3 quick times. Your bow doesnt have to be pulled all the way back, just 3 quick times.
Then follow the instructions on the game to go back to tomb where the blue looking box landed and once you go thru the small opening, run all the way to the glow where it will ask you to interact and you will receive your legendary shield and sword.
Thank you for the reply but I actually have tried that ,I reset the mission I have done the meditation fast forward I have gone out of the area to a new check point then come back .I have tried everything I can think of. for some reason the shadow just does not show up on the pillar
@@ForestDogwoodworks wow that’s messed up. I had to reset twice in a row, Meditate and wait (be patient) give it time. Definately a glitch then.
Who knows, come back to it later and try again. The sword & shield are worth it. The sword is not cursed so you have full health vs 1/3.
