they dont investigate who is at fault unless there is major injury or death. Insurance companies decide this. Why would he waste his time it would mean nothing at the end of the day.
So the cop didn't bother but stated he needs to get a tag for the trailer because he was breaking the "registration law". You see, I didn't know about that law. But, I do know one law. It's called "if you see a crying woman regardless if she's producing fake tears next to a man in a crime scene, you should assume he's guilty until proven innocent unless he's talking in a soprano voice, wearing pink, and tight shorts" law. Yeah, I am very familiar with that law especially since I was subject to it by Deputy Berger Hillsborough Sheriff District 3 in 2017 by a similar innocent where a a crazy hateful Karen who should have been committed for life in Morton Plant Behavior Hospital almost put me in handcuffs with her gender bias Duluth Model statement against me. It's a wonder why for the last two years BLM & Antifa are in full force.
It's possible for both parties to be in the wrong: he shouldn't have been on the road with no tags, she shouldn't have been driving without due care and attention. No fault accident.

In Az, private property accidents are not enforceable by the police. They dnt investigate, just facilitate the exchange of information. No fault is determined nor are citations issued unless the violation is criminal like Reckless Driving or DUI.
@ToxicPerson: No personal injury, no damage over $500, private property… The officers are frustrated that they’re being called to mediate an argument. No, because they’re nice guys and they don’t like being an unpleasant part of anybody’s day.

Your lucky to get a cop for a parking lot accident. Where I live and its becoming more common everywhere , the police will not respond to parking lot accidents. Its up to both partys and ins to take care of it.
Yes, I think the cop has a legitimate claim of "Not my job." Insurance companies can probably get the tapes if they want to investigate. More likely they won't bother for a minor parking lot fender bender like this. I get that, if this guy is driving for work, he doesn't want to be held at fault.
Dude I love you catching yourself and saying "Don't say too much" that is SUCH good advice! 🤣🤣🤣 People are saying why didn't he just go in and look at the CCTV.. not defending this seemingly unfriendly cop but I don't think they can legally just walk in and demand to see the security footage for something like this since it's property of the private business. The cop would need a warrant and I think the parties have to request a copy of the security footage from the business and the business has to decide if they want to let people review it or something like that.
Businesses don't tend to refuse when a cop asks to look at video, especially a gas station that needs to maintain a good relationship with local PD to make sure gas drive offs actually get solved. It never hurts to ask either. You act like cops don't ask to do things to avoid a warrant multiple times a day
Usually if a police officer walks into a gas station to ask to see footage of an accident that occurred on the property, they would voluntarily allow the officer to see it. If they refuse, yes, a warrant would be needed.
Brother you should have went over to that where those cameras were and got a copy of that for your record this sounds like she was trying to pull an insurance scam on you
I'm not sure but I think that those cameras are NOT a matter of Public record as they are on private property. They won't just "Give" you a copy without a court order. That's for the insurance companies to deal with.

"You need to have a tag that's registered." Um you need to check these cameras then call Karen out for lying 😒
But it wasn't the "crying woman law" in this video according to this video the officer was following, it was the "registration law" he was upholding. Thanks for the clarification Officer Doughnut. It's a wonder why for the last two years BLM & Antifa are in full force.
It's possible for both parties to be in the wrong: he shouldn't have been on the road with no tags, she shouldn't have been driving without due care and attention. No fault accident.

@ToxicPerson: No personal injury, no damage over $500, private property… The officers are frustrated that they’re being called to mediate an argument.
